Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 48Best service and quality ever
Hyatt Regency pushed the limit of customer service to the nines! I've stayed there once or twice each year. It out did itself again! When i asked housekeeping to do something to prop up the mattress, not only did the staff try to remedy it, they brought in a brand new mattress in a bag! Very satisfied.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 48Da Hyatt at Waikiki was da best ...
We initially reserved a room with a mountain/city view; but when we got there they gave us room next to the elevator and it was very noisy, my wife n I could not sleep ... we complained the next day and they moved us to a larger room with a ocean/city view ... wow, it was excellent ... the staff was very nice and apologetic for the inconvenience ... they came thru for us big time ... its probably the best place that weve stayed at in Hawaii ... Mahalo!!!

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 48A great place to stay in Waikiki
We really enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency on Waikiki. The location is very central, our room was very comfortable and clean. If you have a rental car, be prepared to pay $28+ per night. Although we did not have a front ocean view, we were upgraded to the Club level. With free breaksfast in the morning and free drinks and food in the afternoon. The staff at the Club level were super nice and helpful. Overall, it was a very great experience.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 48GREAT !!! GOT MORE THAN I EXPECT.
I usually stay at 5 star hotels.I went to Hyatt and was pleasantly surprised.I got a oceanfront 29th floor for a very reasonable price. The hotel is "little" less on decor and vibe then the very expensive 5 star, but for the money and the view you cant beat hyatt.I saved money compared to other hotels and had a great time. The location is great in the center of waikiki and the people that work are very well trained and courteous. Some five star workers think they are the guest and act snobby.I have been to almost every hotel in waikiki and I am very picky.Hyatt is now one of my favorite!!!

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 48Great location and service
We liked this hotel a lot. We got a great room rate, and the concierge service was very good. It is conveniently located right across the street from Waikiki, and the hotel provides free towels and beach chairs for hotel guests to use on the beach. Also, the hotel has a snack bar on the beach, and the food prices there were very reasonable. Only down side was the self parking rate in the garage was $28 a day (can't imagine what it would cost for valet parking)! Also, go through the concierge to rent a car if you haven't already reserved one before you get to the hotel. The onsite car rental companies are much more expensive, and the rental car companies "offsite" are really close and will pick you up at the hotel.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 48Great view, good service, dated look, poor restaurants, hotel needs improvement
Great view ... hard to beat the Pacific ocean, good service ... after reserving two deluxe non-smoking rooms they finally delivered after two attempts to put us in a smoking room, poor restaurants ... forgot about us after we checked in for our reservation, hotel needs improvement ... it appears to me like a 1960 Las Vegas hotel that has not been updated. I have been to Hyatt Regency Resorts before and this does not rank up there. Spend you hard earned money somewhere else.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 48Great hotel
I stayed here for a week. The hotel is great and the rooms are very large, even compared to other hotels on Waikiki. The staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 48Good Hotel
Hotel was well above average but the tours (2) we took from the tour desk in the Hotel were below what I had previously had from other hotels, if I were Hyatt I would look into another company to represent. It was just slightly above getting a taxi cab to sites. I will use Grayline or AAA in whatever city or country I visit in the future. I have found then to be most reliable and of good quality in most US cities and also a few forgien countries.

Just don't get a room next to the elevator shaft. Otherwise, excellent hotel in location. Note that you have to cross the street to get to Waikiki Beach, but for the price it is worth it.
