Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 149For Business Only
The hotel was in a great area (close to the Field Museum) and was very clean and comfortable. However, it's not a family-friendly hotel. There are no restaurants within walking distance that are okay for kids; all of the ones we were recommended (by the concierge) were upscale and pricey. And they supposedly don't know of any pizza places that deliver to the hotel. We were lucky enough to catch a delivery man downstairs who gave us his employer's take-out menu. So overall, it's a great hotel for business, not for families.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 149AMAZING
Well considering I worked for The Hilton Hotels chain I am pretty observant and picky about hotels, but I have to say I was COMPLETELY satisfied!:)

Slow service everywhere, except housekeeping they were wonderful ladies, Thank You. Slow to answer phone, take your order; bar or restaurant, fill your order, ring up your order, slow elevator. We only stayed here because of our event in the hotel made it convenient, I would suggest the same for anyone else. Poor as far as Hyatt's go. Locals said it is always that way.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 149Exemplary service
The service we received throughout the hotel was outstanding. Employees were courteous, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. At check-in, we were offered a free room upgrade, as we were traveling with children. It was unexpected and made our trip enjoyable and luxurious. The restaurant was excellent as well.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 149A decade after it's opening, it's still good!
From the time pulled in the driveway, doorman opening the car & unloading our bags to the cart, I knew I had finally returned to good service. The man who brought our bags to the room, drew back the curtains so we could see our great view, drew open the closet drapes, placed our things there and recommended the concierge to make reservations for us so that we would not have a long wait in a nice restaurant. Clean, comfortable, i-home stations...every hotel should be like this...

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 149Good hotel for the money
The hotel wasn't situated right in the heart of the Chicago, but the #3 bus (which takes you right into the Magnificent Mile) runs right by the hotel. There is also a hotel shuttle that can drop off visitors downtown, at the Museum Campus, or at the Navy Pier. The hotel is also connected to the McCormick Place Metra. Unfortunately, breakfast isn't included and the hotel restaurants were a bit pricey. Overall, it was a nice stay in a nice room... except for the bathroom door that refused to close all the way.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 149Great room for the money.
I'm extremely disappointed with the parking situation. Come on 28 bucks for parking and don't get to leave after you park without having to pay again. That's a rip off.
