Great room for the money

The hotel was very nice and the room was great. I loved the bed- it was so comfortable to sleep in and did not have the regular "hotel style" uncomfortable scratchy comforter. I loved that the room had a sofa so that the bed was not the only place to sit, but you could also lay in bed to watch TV if you wanted to. MY husband loved the flat screen plasma TV that rotated to be seen from sofa or bed. Other people complained that the bathroom was too small, but it was exactly what I expected! And what does the size matter anyway? You are only in there to shower and go to the bathroom! I liked that the vanity and sink were just outside the bathroom- that gave me plenty of room to do what I needed too. With the vanity there, I'm not sure why others complained of the small bathroom. The sink is used the most, and it was put in a good location. I liked that there was a free breakfast with good variety. And the self check in kiosk was quick and easy. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return here again.

Perfect value

This was my first time staying at Hyatt Place - very convenient to all of my appointments in Dallas - easy to get to, and the staff was A++ - highly recommend for it's value and comfort. I will stay again.

Excellent Hotel

We loved this hotel. It was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Overall it was just a wonderful place to stay. We'll be back.

HYATT PLACE

The hotel was very nice, very modern, very clean, and the price was outstanding. The staff was very nice and very helpful!!! But I must say the AC unit in there was not great at all. We had it set on 50 degrees all day we never turned it off, we even turned off all the lights in the hotel when we were gone and kept the curtains closed and it never got below 70 and we like it really cold when we sleep. The AC said 70 but it felt warmer than that in the room. The continental breakfast was great. I would stay here again but would request to be higher up than the 2nd floor and face the front. We faced the back and it was not a great view!!!

Great Room For the Money

Feels like a small apartment! The HD TV was really nice, and the whole suite was comfortable. Also, Addison dining is nearby, so definitely go to Blue Mesa Grill brunch if you stay here!

Barely ok.

When my family goes out of town, we always make a point to stay at a Hyatt place and we usually love the hotel and our stay there, but this was definitely my least favorite. Unless you are staying here to be close to the Galleria Mall, the location is terrible. The traffic around the mall is just so congested. As for inside our room, we found some dirty socks under the blanket at the foot of our bed and we had paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. Both mornings, the cereal was stale at breakfast and at the pool, the first night they had no towels out and the second night, they had hand towels in the towel box. They also took a shirt out of my room that was on the floor with a towel and say they can't find it. This is a Hyatt Place we won't be staying at again.

Awesome Hotel

This was our 2nd year to stay at this hotel for our anniversary. Just like last year, we were totally impressed by the quality of the hotel and staff for the money. If you want to stay in Dallas that is close to many attractions and will save you big $$, pick this hotel. Two big thumbs up!

Awsome room for the money

This hamed to be one of the best hotel's that me and my family have stayed in. Not only that but the rate for this great hotel was just as great as the hotel. Was a breath of fresh air after some of our past experiences. Wished we could have spent more time. There was plenty of room for a family of four. Loved the big screen TV. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful.

business or pleasure, take your pick

this is the second time my wife and i have stayed at this location, and it definitely wont be the last. everyone is friendly and knowledgable. the location is great, just a few blocks north is addison, belt line drive is the place to be for food and entertainment

Average Hotel with Above average Price

For the per night rate charge I really expected a better room. With the exception of the television and Internet the rooms are in much need of an update. Although the room said no smoking it still had the lingering odor of smoke. The bathroom was not the cleanest and the door would stick. Overall I could have paid less and stayed at one of the other well known chains or paid a few dollars more and had way more ameneties. Being that it was my second time staying there in 3 years without any sign of an update, I don't see myself going there again.

Family Loved the hotel and they are hard to please

Centrally locate by shopping malls, food. Just a wonderful place to stay. Cant wait to get back to Dallas.
