Great first impression!!

I was traveling to Atlanta for a conference at the Hyatt downtown. The cost of the rooms was triple what I could pay so I searched for a more reasonable rate. I found this Hyatt near the airport. As I embarked on my four hour drive from my home to College Park I was caught in a very bad rain storm. I got soaked and decided to go to the hotel first, even though it was three hours before check in. When I arrived, I explained my situation to Kalila(?) and told her I really needed a place to get dry and change before going to my conference. She told me if something was available, she would be happy to let me check in early. Luckily for me, it was and I was able to get dry and get ready for my conference. The hotel room was much bigger and better than I expected and, except for some mold on the bathtub tile, was very clean and comfortable. Even the housekeeper was pleasant and smiling. Breakfast was good and the shuttle service was timely. There are restaurants very close and one could simply park at the hotel and take the shuttle/metro to any points in the city. An added extra is the super nice lobby with free wifi, or they have two computers set up for people traveling without computers.

Would stay again!

Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. The heater in the room put off a "burning" odor so we had to switch rooms but the staff took care of it within minutes. We were placed in a handicap room when we didn't need to be but we didn't ask to be moved. Breakfast was to be served until 10:30 a.m., however, we came down at 10 a.m. and there was nothing out but juices and coffee. We ended up eating outside the hotel. Overall, would definitely stay again! I have never been in a Hyatt Place that was not "above par"! Great place to stay and great price!

needs improvement

Dont get in late or it will be a 20 dollar cab ride for driving three miles. People were nice, room needed some repair in bathroom.

Filled with nice scented fragnance and very neat

highly recommend to stay.

Housekeeping

Floor in the bathroom was not clean. Had a lot of hair on it. Otherwise no complaints with the room.

Great hotel

Its a really good hotel. Checking in and out is very easy and fast with the automatic machines in the lobby, the breakfast is good, plenty of parking, shuttle to the airport, comfortable beds, big rooms with a lot of amenities... We stayed there for one night and everything was great. The only recomendation I would do to the hotel is to do a really good carpet wash everywhere, in the hallways and rooms. And if you guys have more money for renovations, change the light switches and the bathroom air filters (they are old and noisy)

Nice place, great value

Wasn't sure what to expect, turned out to be very clean and up to date, relatively quiet, could hear jet noise occasionally but being close to the airport for an early flight was what I wanted so I expected that. service was good, bed very comfortable. Great price through Hotels.com.

Great Stay @ Hyatt Place

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Hyatt Place. Quiet rooms, comfortable. The only negatives would be the bathroom sink area was a little cramped and they could have used a microwave to go along with the fridge. All in all a nice place to stay.

Close fit, but doable

Overall our stay was good. We had a 2 bed room, and could have used some more privacy so wouldn't have to get dress in the bathroom, which was very small.
