Pleasantly surprised

Although I'd read that Wal-Mart was within walking distance, I was pleasantly surprised to see other establishments such as Target, Sonny's, Sonic, Wendy's, and Chase Bank to name a few. (There were also three strip clubs but the overall appearance was "clean" if that's understandable.) Furthermore, Dale Mabry is within minutes of the more upscale International Mall. Continental breakfast included packets of cold or hot cereal, fruit, bread for toasting, coffee, juice, and even boiled eggs. The lobby had a computer available to use for short sessions. The only negative I came across was an overhead light that didn't work--probably needed a lightbulb changed--but I didn't even bother to report it since we were only there for one night.

Great room for the money

Close to airport, great location, quiet neighborhood, good room for the money. The beds were not comfortable and the bathroom is very small, but if you are on tight budget, it's an OK place to stay. Breakfast shouldn't be called breakfast :) it's nothing, but Denny's is right next to it where you can get breakfast much better.

Good hotel if you are on a tight budget

Good hotel if you are on a tight budget. Met my expectations for a 2-star hotel. Conveniently located next to Walmart, McDonalds, Longhorn Steakhous, Sports complex and relatively near airport. Would use it again.

GREAT ROOM FOR THE MONEY

WAS THERE FOR KISS CONCERT,NOT FAR FROM TAMPA FORUM.WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF WAL-MART AND MANY RESTAURANTS. STAFF WAS PLEASANT AND ROOM CLEAN.NICE FREE BREAKFAST.WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN WHEN IN THE AREA.

Planning on coming back

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for only one night but we were impressed with the quality for such a great price! The room was clean and it smelled very nice when we walked in. The only thing we were disappointed with was the continental breakfast. Hardly any choices and the eating area was very small. When the four tables that were in there were full, it was very difficult to even get to the counters where the food was. Besides the small breakfast nook, the rest of the hotel was pleasing. We are planning on coming back soon with the kids to go to the zoo! Would definitely recommend!

Clean and Comfortable

Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Good experience except for the PM shuttle service. I waited at the airport for over an hour to be picked up. This was the main reason for choosing this hotel in this price range. The AM shuttle was exceptionally prompt and courteous. The hotel staff was outstanding. Both the AM and PM shifts at the front desk went out of their way to assist me. I would definitely stay there again.

Great for proximity to the stadium!

Not your top notch hotel, but convieniently located within walking distance to Raymond James Stadium and restaurants. For that reason alone, we'd recommend it...
