Overall Good Experience

As stated in other reviews, we too received friendly service from the hotel staff. The hotel is outdated but clean. We stayed by exit B and the product in the vending machines was expired. We notified the front desk so hopefully future patrons will not experience the same problem. There were many helpful pamphlets in the game room for things to do in the area as well as coupons.

Instead of going to Camel Beach as we were rained out - torrentials rains - we went to the coal mine museum in Scranton -well worth it. We were so tired after our adventures . We were only staying one night, as the next day we were going horse back riding at Sugar Mountain Stables in Bushkill Falls - great choice. We came after a torrential rain storm and were tired and damp. We were so happy to see the hotel. Alicen met us and our room was perfect, big and comfy bed. Even after all our adventures, my daughter had to go to the pool. My relief it was heated - warm enough for me! Later out to the town - at 7pm on a Sunday night we were able to find several restaurants across the street. The next morning, a nice tropical full service restaurant to have bkfst & dinner. I can not find a fault with this Hotel. Room was clean, comfy and quiet. Would definitely stay there again if needed. I was bite worried from the previous comments!! But no worries

Good Location It was perfect for our family

Totally awesome and spacious Great Amenities The staff helped us with everything we needed immediately. We will definitely be back. The price was well within our budget also. The pool was sparkling and a very refreshing way to end the day of site seeing. Everything was clean and well stocked.

Would Not Stay

The room was old and dirty. There were stains on the chair and ottoman that could have been cleaned. The room smelled like the mold in the bathroom. I needed to walk through a cigarette smoked filled hallway to get to my non-smoking room. I would have checked out immediately if there was an opportunity to go elsewhere.

Hotel located with major road behind and in front.So if you are looking for peace and quite not the place.Hotel needs major renovations.Local kids hanging out behind the hotel in the parking lot.Curtains in the room where see thru. Could see into second floor bedroom from the parking lot. with curtains drawn. Only good feature was the hotel restraunt. Good portions of food at a veryy low price. Other than that would never stay there again. Went to Marriot 20 bucks cheaper per night.

HOTEL HAS GOOD POTENTIAL, WITH SOME TLC!

This hotel could be an excellent stay. However, this could only be achieved with some TLC. The hotel is located in an excellent location, close to all restaurants and shopping. Easy on and off the interstate. The entrance lobby and restaurant are very nice. There is also an indoor pool, fitness center and a game room. The rooms contain a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. This is a definite plus! The entire grounds are not being maintained. Overgrown grass. The carpeting needs a deep cleaning. The outside walls need to be pressure washed. The interior walls need cleaning or new paint. There were 3 unregistered vehicles being stored in the parking lot. One of them had flat tires. On one occasion, I called the front desk and no one answered the phone in about 20 rings. This is a safety issue.

Bare Bones

This is an inexpensive place to stay but lacking in maintenance.
