Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 9Only for certain occasion
This hotel was in the middle of the Bronx right next to a police station. If you are in NY for a tour of hte city, this is not the place to stay. It is a 20 minute walk to the subway. However, we were there for a Yankee game and if that is your goal, this hotel is the best for hte price in the area. The park is a mere 15 walk from the hotel. Safety is not an issue with the police station right next store. There is parking for guests and the rooms were clean. The staff at the hotel was nice and courteous. For the purpose of seeing a Yankee game, this hotel is the one I woudl reccomend. To see the city, stay somewhere else.

The managers were not very helpful. They tried to blame us when water came pouring into the room because of the rain outside. I didnt think it was worth the money.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 9Decent room , Poor Value
I have stayed at hotels across NY. This hotel is below average. The furniture and carpet was old and worn. This made determining cleanliness difficult if not irrelevant. The front desk was curteous and efficient. The hotel was located next to a police station therefore, security was no problem. Overall, the hotel was overpriced for what U get. I guess they get away with it because of their proximity to Yankee stadium. Unfortunately for them, I was not there for baseball but real rest and relaxation.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 9Location, location, locatoin
When I arrived at the hotel, I was a bit shocked to see a police precinct next door. There were cop cars everywhere and for the most part, they tended to block the roads. I went for a Yankees game and wanted a location that was within walking distance. Overall, it took about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the stadium. Which for me was ok. Would I use this hotel again, probably. When I go on vacation or sporting events, I tend to spend a lot mroe time away from the hotel. I just need a place to crash.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 7 of 9Stay somewhere's Else
This Hotel was not what we hoped for. First no elevator, bullet-proof glass, bars on the windows, unknown stains on the bed linens, and constant noise. I think this hotel is overpriced for such poor quality.

Awesome spot, close to the stadium. Perfect for an overnight.
