Great surprise

The rooms were clean and comfortable and for the price had more than expected, frig, microwave, new bath. We would definitely stay there again.

Needs much improvement

The hotel's room backup to the New York State Thruway so truck noise was quite loud and continuous all night. The first room we were given was unacceptable. There were used dirty band-aids on the floor, pubic hair all over the toilet seat and heavy mildew all around the bathtub. The second room was clean but the heater cycled on and off too frequently so the room didn't stay at an even temperature. The entire facility looked worn and tired. Stayed the next night at a nearby Hampton Inn in Kingston for about the same price which was excellent. Stay away.

Good enough for 1 night

This hotel was conveniently located for our purposes. While it appeared clean, a bug was found on one of the bedpillows, which made my travel partner a bit uneasy. The attached restaurant, Johnny G's was less than we expected. An actual glass for drinking a little wine in the room was not to be found. The pool was warm and surrounding area clean.

Reasonable

Met our expectations - clean & reasonable, nice indoor pool

hmmm...

Hotel was clean , service nice and everything would be fine but there was something what really bothered me. Both me and my husband use T-mobile and there was no service in hotel. We had to go outside to make or receive a call. Other thing which really bothered me was that I couldn't connect via wireless internet on my phone. I kept receiving message "no gateway reply". There is another hotel Comfort Inn next to Howard Johnson and I had to go to CI parking each time I wanted to check my email or surf the internet. Because of these two things I will not choose the same hotel in the future.

Surprise

I've passed this motel many times, and it's nothing spectacular to look at from the outside. So, I was surprised that the room was big, everything was clean and comfortable, the pool looked nice, and there's a decent diner on premises that gives a 10 percent discount to motel guests. The price was a bit high (I thought) for the location; the garlic festival was going on and I booked late. But, it turns out the price matched the quality.

Ok for brief stopover

Travelled here for an overnight stay. For the price I paid it was adequate. Very close to thruway which made it convienient for moving on to my interview.

Very Nice room

Our room was very nice and clean. I enjoyed using the inside heated pool. The air conditioner mostly blocked out the traffic from the nearby highway.
