OK for the money

We purposely selected a very low price hotel - and got what we paid for. Very hard to get the room cool, staff wasn't very friendly, pillows were AWFUL (and we couldn't get extras), sheets wouldn't stay on beds, "continental breakfast" was anything but...cereal, toast, coffee - that's IT. We will definitely pay a little more next time, and stay someplace else.

Needs a lot of improvement

Upon arrival the room was not ready even though it was past 2pm.We had a major problem with flies which covered the whole room and were dead on floors.The room was never vacuumed or bathroom cleaned.On our third day we had to ask for a vacumcleaner because the bathroom floor was covered with dead flies.Bed was not made.When complaining about this problem was told that was to be expected from the housekeeping staff,but that they now offer free insect spray for room that have problems.It was a terrible stay,and I don't care what you pay,this should not happen

Dissappointing Breakfast

If you are looking for a place to stay that includes a breakfast, this is not the place for you. Advertises free continental breakfast w/ fresh hot waffles. Had corn flakes in a dispenser, plain white bread, an a few stale muffins. Milk was sitting out on counter. There was oj and coffee. We had to stop for breakfast before our conference which was unplanned, and an inconvenience.

Great Communication

I was going to be arriving very late and called the desk earlier in the evening to make arrangements and everything was taken care of for me to check in swiftly and with ease. The mattress was comfortable and half the pillows were quite fluffy. For a cheaper room the ammenities were more than enough. Will stay here again.

Good sleep

It was Feb. 13, 2009. Rm 129 Desk staff very accommodating and at check out the on duty clerk asked if my requests were met and ask me several times if I was okay with taking a smoking room over a non smoking. They were full up when I called as I was running late and ask if they could save me a downstairs room....health issues...only if I would take smoking. I said no problem. Spread new. 2 of my pillows were about new. Furniture comfortable, mattress good, sheets crisp, old motel which had been rehabbed awhile back. I got in at midnight parking lot very full. Lots of amenities for a cheap room. Walls thin, I left the fan run for white noise. I didn't have a problem, but for those of you who are picky about noise. Understand that I heard people above me, slightly over the fan.

Cheap, but still not worth the money!

Staff was friendly, but it took 15 minutes to get checked in. They had to move us from one room to another because the pull-out sofa bed was not usable. the springs were completely gone. It was very dirty, and there was hair in our bed. Clearly did not change bedding. The bathroom was also very dirty. Built-up grime on the shower curtain.

Good location

I booked online several days in advance. I told them I had reservations,they could not find it,told them I booked online,they could not find it.Luckily I printed off the conformation,they wanted a credit card told them I paid,they looked over the conformation again,and gave me the key.Took about 20 min,to get a room.The check in time is 1:00 pm,not 11:00am as stated on this site,but that was no problem. I would stay there again,good price.

good value for $$, except...

towels were threadbare and scratchy and we had to ask for a toilet paper refill. But we'd stay again for the convenience of location and overall value. (I'll probably bring my own towels next time!)

you get what you pay for

If your looking for someplace cheap but still suitable to live in for a few days this is place. Great location, service was acceptable, and the sports/biker bar was pretty good.

Need Improvement

I was bitten by some kind of insect in the hotel room. I did not see the insect but judging from the bite mark, I am afraid that insect might have been bed bag.

Great room for the money.

I only stayed over one night, but I found that the service was average, location was good and I would stay there again.

Need Improvement or removal from list

after checking in decided not to stay at this hotel, seedy, strange people hanging around, family felt like it was the ghetto

Well, it's bed on the way.

Location was good and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Having traffic and weather playing in the lobby was very helpful. The only negative was a substantial one. The pillows were stained and smelled 'funny'. The comforters had burn marks on them and there were flat sheets instead of fitted sheets. We tied our own hospital corners to keep them on.
