Great space in King Rooms

The only problem I had was with the beds, they were a little hard and the pillows were a little thin. The overall experience was great. There was ample space in the rooms for both myself and a guest to move around freely. This hotel is great for the price and it is near a mall and plenty eateries.

Better than the pictures...

We were very pleased with our room. It was large, comfortable and cleam. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were much nicer than they looked in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised. The only complaint we had, was really not the motels fault, but we had very noisy neighbors because of a crying baby. As a father of 5, been there, done that. We just waited for the baby to go to sleep.

Moderate value for the price, but needs slight improvement

Based on 3 nights total experience during two stays. Room was of a good size with couch and king-sized bed. Table was large and excellent for using a laptops. Pool was clean, but needs better cutting of nearby shrubs. Gold's Gym use a plus. Registered online for one adult and two children (my sons), but found as when I stayed there before, that the towels were set up for only two people. Pillows were small - so bring an extra one. Continental breakfast was very minimal - skimpy - tiny donuts, never seems to be any decaf coffee there or in the room - and the batter for waffles runs out early. Could add bagels or muffins. There are some similar motels in the Aiken that are cheaper and about the same otherwise. I will look at those again. This mainly had a bigger room. On other counts, this one should lower their price or raise their quality a bit.

Needs Improvement

The bedding could be better pillows and bed not comfortable at all. It resembles too much like a Days Inn. The grass outside the fence needs to be cut or done away with. Bathroom and shower too small. It will do for a one night stay.

Masters

Stayed in the hotel for the Masters. Was 30mins from Augusta and very convenient.

Very nice

The experience was better than expected. The room was very large and clean. The only problem was that the sign was small and I missed the turn twice.

Great room for the money

The room was very nice and comfortable. I like that the sink was in the bathroom, and not in the room. The only thing that I disliked was that the spread had a very displeasant smell as if it was not changed before I got there. But I did call front desk and it was NO problem at all for them to change the linen while we were out. I would definitely stay there again.

not as good as I hoped.

Rooms were ok at best. Sheets and blankets probably were washed, but were stained giving a not clean look and feel. We used some blankets that we brought with us instead.. Flourescent light over the mirror and sink was intermittant and would not stay on. Hard for the girls to get thier makeup ready fo a wedding with no light. Called the desk after arriving and discovering this but they were unable to send someone out that night. Said they would send someone in the morning but no one showed up. Light was still a problem for the next night. Staff at the front desk was friendly. Pool was clean.

Great room for the money

The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely hospitable.

Very good. Met our expectations.

It was a wonderful stay. Comfortable and quiet. We were able to relax and unwind.

Decent for the Price

No smoking room truly was no smoking. Smelled nice and clean. Roomy. Only complaint was the tiny bathroom. Old 1 inch tiles, kinda grimy. Just didn't feel all that clean in the shower area. Plus, it was a tiny stand-up shower stall (no tub), and it's one of those rooms where the toilet and shower are behind closed doors with the mirror and vanity in the main room. I'm not a real fan of that setup. You access your hotel room from outside, not an inside corridor. Not that safe of a setting these days. Other than that, decent room for your money. You get a king bed, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, hair drier, and tv with HBO/cable. Simple continental breakfast 6-9am. Friendly staff.
