Convenient Location for Alsace Gateway

This hotel is very convenient to the Aeroport. We stayed one night upon arrival and picked up our rental car the next morning. It is a very convenient gateway to the Alsace Wine Road, which is about an hour's drive north. The front desk was very helpful in delivering late arriving luggage from British Air. Also, the next morning, they directed us to the convenient airport bus, which saved us from a 15 Euro cab fare. The small town of Saint Louis is very quiet and nice for walking around. A good way to get our bearings in France after our long flight from California. Convenient banks, grocery store, drug store, etc. Also, convenient gas station for returning rental car after vacation. The town is so much easier than maneuvering around the big city of Basel. The hotel is an older European basic hotel, nothing fancy, but very functional. If and when we return, we will probably stay in the same place.

Quaint hotel in a great little town!

My husband and I stayed here for an evening and found St. Louis to be one of the highlights of our trip. Much cheaper than staying in Basel and the Bus/Tram system gets you there in less than 10 min! Great patissier/cafe across the street and an incredible restaurant just up the street, La Diligence, great hearty French food at a reasonable price!

Outstanding Hotel

Convenient to the highway, and located in St. Louis, France which is a small but enjoyable city right on the Swiss border. Easy to take a bus from St. Louis to Basel to go shopping, so that you do not have to deal with parking in Basel. The rooms have been renewed recently, and the bathrooms are extremely nice. It is a very charming hotel.
