Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 377Hidden Fees and Costly Extras
Went to Palm Springs on business and a colleague recommended Hotel Zoso. I was surprised by the hefty valet fee, and likewise the fact that I was not allowed to park in the empty parking garage if I did not pay the fee. Instead, I had to park on the street. I was also charged a large flat fee for convenience, ie, room service. I had no intention of ordering room service and expressed that, but they charged me anyway then removed the charge when I checked out. The elevator requires you to insert your room key before you can access rooms above the first floor. The woman at the check-in desk did not tell me that, so I spent about five minutes in the closed elevator before I figured it out. The room was decent, but there had obviously been a wall-mounted TV that had been torn out and a very small television substituted in its place. In fact, I had to plug in the TV. The rooms do not include a coffee maker or refrigerator, but do include a room-service menu. It seems pretty obvious that Hotel Zoso does not want you to have food in your room unless you've ordered it from their lobby restaurant. All in all, this was a very disappointing hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 377Amazing!
I recently went with my husband, for halloween. We had so much fun! It was relaxing and beautiful. The best part was that it was a walking distance to the casino!. :)

Loved the hotel and the location. For those single men who travel with a dog, you can do no better!

What a change from the last time I stayed here about 4 months ago!! The staff - valet, front desk, pool bar were all very very friendly and helpful!!!! Must have been the change from the loud music crowd to a more mellow relaxed crowd, Great job changing the setting at the pool!

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 8 of 377Hotel Zoso
I absolutely loved my room and the patio was a very nice addition. It was large and private. I didn't want to leave my room! The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. My only issue was that I thought the actual pool was a little small. Otherwise, this is a perfect place to stay. It is so central to downtown that you could walk to many places and never have to move your car.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 377Beautiful Rooms
Great location! Beautiful rooms! This place was definetly worth the price compared to others nearby. Very upscale modern decor. The only things we saw wrong were the elevator on the west wing. It didn't go up for us so we had to take the stairs. We also had a dresser draw that didn't want to stay shut. Minor things, but overall the experience was great.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 377Nice Room, But Pool is Small
If you are looking to party by the pool, you may want to consider another location. However, if you are looking for a hotel close to downtown Palm Springs (walking distance), with nice comfy amenities, then this is the room for you. There were many small touches which made the room enjoyable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 377Lax and arbitrary enforcement of rules reall diminished this hotel's overall quality
The staff is nice at this hotel and the rooms are really good quality. Clean and free Internet! The pool is atrocious. When you first see it, you think, "is this a prison yard?" Where are the palm trees or at least umbrellas or landscapting? I think I could have overlooked that, but they allowed a lot of very rowdy people into the pool area from surrounding hotels for parties. Smoking in the pool and loud parties all night all around the property (including the pool really ruined the stay. Zoso was a quality hotel, but they seem to have sold out for ANYONE who can pay the rate to stay there (it was on the mid-range side the weekend I stayed there). The people who stayed there could not respect the rules and it made it feel like a chaotic free for all sadly.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 377Hotel "So-So
Upon arrival, the outside of the hotel promises great things. Very trendy look to the building and the valet was super friendly.Everything is new and clean. The bar and restaraunt seem very upscale. The room is nice and the furnishing are very modern. Too bad looks arent everything. The maid service was poor, with moderate work done and no restocking of consumbles. The pools area is a very weak link. With no beach around, seeing as Palm Springs is in the desert, the pool is an important part to completing an oasis. The chairs and umbrellas are faded and ragged. The pool itself is TINY. And i do mean tiny. At peak use the crowding was horrible. It was like sharing bath water. Not good. I am going to cut short and not even go into detail on the billing issues had despite having paid in advance. Overall not the worst experience ever , but no where worth 200 a night.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 14 of 377Great location!
The bed was very comfortable! Unfortunately, a bunch of young people took over the pool; I was actually hoping to just relax by the pool, but it didn't happen.

Beautiful Hotel - recommended improvements: 1. Place Pillow top on ALL Mattress. 2. Include parking fee in overall cost. 3. Provide entertainment at least until 12-1AM 4. Remove OLD lounge chairs in Pool area. Overall I loved this Hotel and will be back again and again. p.s. The food at eatz was execellent.
