Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 319A Jewel in the Museum District of Houston
Let me start by saying that I have had the pleasure of travelling a lot, and staying in many nice places. This hotel is fantastic. Tasteful decorations, incredible photographic art, quiet room, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The on site restaurant is tops, with a creative menu and very knowledgeable wine steward. I will be back.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 319Almost perfect hotel
My stay at Zaza was outstanding. My only complaint is a trivial one. I was traveling for work and there were not enough convenient electrical outlets in the room. With that said, I would definitely stay at this property again!

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 319Poor location
It's a nice hotel, it's just not near anything. The hotel provides a car that can take you around, but you are not really even walking distance to anything, such as restaurant options, sport bars, etc. Nice rooms though.

Rooms were small as was bathroom. The beds were two doubles and they didn't leave much space to move around between then. Amenities were nice and it is a great location. Ate all meals in restaurant hotel and food was good if a little overpriced. the bar was crowded noisy and had very little seating. we had to get our own drinks from the bar. paid $50 nonrefundable fee for our dog and their website touts them as a very pet friendly hotel and each pooch gets his own personal water bowl and doggie zaza snack. they never appeared. i didn't say anything at the time but plan on emailing hote management.

"New favorite place to stay in Texas"

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 319Hotel ZaZa is my new "most favorite hotel" in Texas.
The wife and I fell in love with this hotel and it has become our "quick romantic getaway" location. It exceeded every expectation and the Fantastico room is perfect... except for the picture they chose to hang in the bathroom... (pic of a dude staring at you while you conduct your business) :-) We cannot wait to return to take advantage of the numerous things to do in the neighborhood surrounding the Hotel ZaZa like Museums, golf, jazz clubs and the ZaZa's pool area is off the chart nice!!! The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. If you get the opportunity - stay there. You will not be disappointed.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 8 of 319Great hotel but by no means worth the cost
Great location, beautifully appointed but not worth the outrageous rate. The Sheraton or the Marriot are just as beautiful and not nearly as expensive. Save your money and spring for one of those.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 319My new hotel in Houston
This is an incredible boutique hotel. I reserved a Fantastico suite. Unlike many hotels, the pictures online are exactly what you get. Loved everything from the hotel decor to the beautiful, spacious room and fabulous service. Will absolutely be back when in the area.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 319neat boutique hotel with great pool but very noisy
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool area was great. However, we were kept up most of the night by partying guests who seemed to spend most of the night in the corridors. Because it is an old building, the walls were not very soundproof and I could hear the neighboring televisions and showers starting up to say nothing of people in the hallways. There are no restaurants other than the hotel within walking distance but it is convenient to the museums. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture was pretty.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 12 of 319Outstanding hotel with a staff that cares and gives personal attention to the needs of its guests. Exceptional rooms for the money.
My daughter and I travel to Houston 1-2 times per month for her medical treatments at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Staying at Hotel Za Za transforms an otherwise difficult and dismal existence into one of respite and delight. The ambiance of the hotel, attention to detail and the personal commitment of all of the staff to their guests have earned our loyalty. Hotel Za Za is truly " a cut above the rest."

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 319Great Place
The ZaZa was a very classy place that had a friendly staff and nice clean rooms. The parking was a bit overpriced but then again it was not more than I would have expected coming from such an upscale hotel.
