Beautiful Spot on San Francisco Waterfront

Hotel Vitale has a great location right on the Embarcadero across from the Ferry Building. Water view rooms have spectacular views. Highly recommended.

a lovely hotel in a great location with great service, reasonable price.

It was a shame that we did not know about this hotel when we booked the beginning of our stay with another. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The location could not have been better, and the room was very nicely decorated. It was our anniversary, and the staff sent us a courtesy $75.00 bottle of champagne!

San Francisco Gem

Walking distance from the Ferry Building and Muni, this hotel gives you a taste of the real San Francisco-a bustling waterfront without the "made for tourists" feel of Pier 39. The bathtub is perfect for two; the room beautifully appointed. We enjoyed the roof top views and walked to dinner and the theater. Not cheap but well worth it.

Great Hotel, not perfect

At checkout we told the desk clerk about the alarm clock that woke us up at 4:30 am and the dirty hand towel. We love the proximity to the Ferry Building and the Embarcadero. Very comfortable bed, good size standard room, extra large bathroom. We'll be back!

great room for the money

This hotel was lovely. Beats the hotel chains! wouldn't have stayed if the price was what it was the next day!! Big rooms, and comfortable bed.

very beautiful rooms

the comforter was so soft and cuddly nice when wanting to snuggle up and relax. Also the robes were a nice touch as well as the radio in the room i loved this hotel everything was perfect. Except the more money we paid for a city view was not a very impressive view could have paid reg. price and got same view.

Nice experience

We had paid for a waterview and arrived a little late (6:45 pm checked in) so we got one of the less desirable rooms which overlooks the mechanical area. It also had a view of the bay bridge. It was very cramped and we were disappointed. Upon discussion with the front desk, however, they were able to change our room the next day and it was a much bigger room. It did not have a view of the bay bridge but we were elevated away from the mechanical area so we were happy. The location was great and there were awesome restaurants at the Market street across the street as well as a Saturday market which was incredible.
