Hotel Vitale-a Joie de Vivre Hotel

Nice experience

We had paid for a waterview and arrived a little late (6:45 pm checked in) so we got one of the less desirable rooms which overlooks the mechanical area. It also had a view of the bay bridge. It was very cramped and we were disappointed. Upon discussion with the front desk, however, they were able to change our room the next day and it was a much bigger room. It did not have a view of the bay bridge but we were elevated away from the mechanical area so we were happy. The location was great and there were awesome restaurants at the Market street across the street as well as a Saturday market which was incredible.

Cool spot

Liked this place a lot. Stylish lobby, nice, clean, modern room, and friendly, helpful staff. A little out of the way if you don't have business in the Embarcadero area.

Great location

I love the location - just across from the Ferry Building. Also, the scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms and truffles are amazing.

Great location, great staff, ok room

I expected alot more from this hotel. I had heard amazing things. Our room looked out at the heating ducts, the drapes were plastic, the furnishings were from IKEA....

Nice staff, good location, upgraded room was really nice, the only problem is the loud bar area at happy hour but that can also be fun
