Hotel Venezia Terme

A large white hotel built in the 1940s, the Venezia Terme is surrounded by private pine forests and situated in the centre of Abano Terme, renowned for its healing thermal springs and natural drinking water. The 111 air- conditioned guestrooms have Venetian style décor in calming hues, and open out to balconies with views of the surrounding area. Amenities include satellite televisions, direct-dial telephones and minibars.

The hotel has two interconnected thermal swimming pools, indoor and outdoor and equipped with underwater messages, complimentary to all guests. Beside the pools, guests can relax with a drink in the poolside bar, in one of the lounges or the casino. There is a sauna and aquagym free of use for guests and an extensive range of spa treatments are offered including therapeutic massages and physiotherapy, mud and thermal water treatments, and beauty treatments for face and body. The natural spring waters have healing qualities and can be drunk directly from the spring, and there is also a natural grotto with thermal vapours. Fine dining is offered at the Restaurant Il Doge, which serves an extensive range of regional and Italian cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a gala dinner every Thursday. Guests can spend lazy days by the outdoor pool, play ping pong or hire bicycles to explore the surrounding area. For golfers there are three courses within a 10-kilometre radius; the hotel can organise coaching, discounts on green fees and transfer shuttles. The Regional Park of the Euganean Hills, with its microclimate and trekking paths is five kilometres away. Further afield, the romantic waterways and beautiful architecture of Venice are 40 kilometres away. Venice Marco Polo is the nearest airport (50 kilometres), approximately one hour by car, and Padua is the nearest train station, 10 kilometres from the hotel.
