Great hotel experience

Very nice, classy, great location, clean, and well priced. Absolutely recommend it.

Great Location

Hotel Valencia's location alone made this a fun place to stay. The shopping on Santana Row is wonderful, but even if you do not like to shop, there are fun places to sit and watch people.

Best Hotel in San jose

One of the best hotel stays ever in the CA. The free amenities like WIFI, 24 hours gym, breakfast brunch(although I didn't have any) were excellent for the price of the hotel. VBar in the hotel was a little up-tight though, the patio was quite spacious for people to stand and have sip of their cocktail. The staff at the reception were very friendly and accomodating, they even took the effort of sending our cell phone to the room, when I forgot it in the car when leaving it for valet. But they charged me $28 for valet, I thought it was for free, given the fact the hotel was located right in the middle of an upscale mall with lots and lots of parking spaces. I didnt use the valet the second night, parked the car one block away in the mall parking lot. Nice business center with a choice of mac or windows, how convenient. I used the g5 mac for online check-in. Very clean hotel, the best bed linens, bathrooms were bright and hi-tec, I like the oriental theme of wood in all furniture. The TV remote was lame, 42 in lcd. Although I didnt find a chest to unpack my clothes, that was disappointing. Overall I would give it 4.5 stars out of 5.

Poor Layout

There are two sets of elevators, one that goes to the lobby and the other that go to the rooms. The room is not easily accessible. The room echoes quite a bit and the noise from the night clubs kept me awake and as soon as I fell asleep the fire alarm went off.

overall hotel room good for the money

the location was very convenient,walking distance to shops & restaurants. Breakfast was included and we liked it. the only negative about the room was sink and shower drainage was slow and it needs better maintenace.

Beautiful Hotel

Great hotel. Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Free wifi and continental breakfast were great as well. Location is great right in the middle of Santana Row. Would absolutely stay there again.

Good hotel in good location

I liked this hotel. The style is modern with an Asian touch, though the exterior is more Italian. The courtyard was lovely and despite it being very busy, my room was very quiet. My bedroom window overlooked another guest's balcony which was weird but I jsut kept the shutters closed. The only thing I didn't like too much was how dark and cavernous it felt in certain areas (e.g. the hallways to the bedrooms and the Citrus dining room where breakfast was served). The staff were helpful especially the valets.
