What a view!

This is a "Soho" style hotel located high up Valparasio's mountain side. The location provides an amazing view of the bay and the city below as well as a great view of Vina Delmar across the bay. The Hotel's immediate neighborhood is anything but touristy but we never felt unsafe. If you are driving in Valparasio, not for the weak of heart or navgationally challenged,look for the hotel's "street curb directions". As you drive up the mountain you will see that the hotel has painted the name Ultramar Hotel along with a corresponding directional arrow on the street curb at every intersection. How easy is that!
