Description
See more detailsThe Hotel Tritone is a colourful, Mediterranean-style hotel enjoying panoramic sea views, set 200 metres from the town and 500 from Portinente Beach. The hotel's 39 guestrooms are classically decorated in warm tones, with antique furnishings. All extend to furnished balconies with sea views and offer marble bathrooms with hydro-massage showers and bathtubs, bathrobes, and hair dryers. Other amenities include air conditioning, minibars, direct-dial phones, wireless Internet, and satellite television.
Guests can soak up the sun beside the spring water pool, surrounded by a tropical garden or relax in the outdoor jetted tub with drinks from the poolside bar. The hotel offers a daily shuttle service to the beach, and the concierge can offer sightseeing advice. Relaxation can also be found in the wellness centre, which offers a variety of oriental thermal and esthetic treatments. The restaurant serves local and European a la carte dishes, and guests can unwind with evening drinks in the lobby bar. Guests can shop in Lipari and visit the Archaeological Museum, 600 metres away. The town's castle is 700 metres away. Island-hoppers can take the hydrofoil to Lipari Island, two kilometres away, Volcano island, nine kilometres away and Salina Island, 13 kilometres away. Catania, Sicily Airport is the closest to the hotel.
Please Note:
Transportation to the island: The island can be reached by boat from the port of Milazzo (a city in the province of Messina). There are several companies that provide this service and the ferries run approximately every hour (and sometimes less). Ferry service operates seven days per week. The trip takes about an hour.
