    The hotel staff was rude and non-reactive when we checked in and checked out. The room itself had paint peeling off the wall and had many mosquitos bothering and biting us while we sleeping. The bathroom was old and there was mold all over the area where the toilet was. The only nice thing about the hotel was the lobby and bar area which were very historic looking and had a great ambiance. This hotel should not continue to be promoted until the rooms are renovated.

    The only thing that I thought was really missing here for the price was that they didn't have CNN or BBC, no English language news on the TV. Otherwise, the staff was helpful, the hotel is historic and a bit flash, definitely Moroccoan not a European looking chain.

Location. Hotel Transatlantique is located in Casablanca, Morocco, within 800 metres of Casa Port and one kilometre from the Old Medina. Casa Ville train station is within 800 metres of the hotel.

Hotel Features. Hotel Transatlantique is built in traditional Moroccan style and set in a corner building between two city streets in central Casablanca. Multilingual staff are available at the 24-hour front desk to assist guests with organising excursions.

There are four restaurants, two bars and an Oriental night club open at Hotel Transatlantique. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily.

Conference rooms are available for business guests. The hotel provides translational services for international guests. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.

Guests receive complimentary use of a nearby fitness centre.

Guestrooms. There are 75 guestrooms decorated in Moroccan style with dark wood and light colours. Guestrooms are air-conditioned and feature satellite television, direct-dial phones, and bathrooms with bathtubs and hair dryers.
