Very nice hotel for the price. No restaurant but not a problem given the area. No exercise facility.

Great location, two blocks away from Miracle Mile. Beautifully decorated with lots of antiques, very nice comfortable room and friendly staff.

It was totally unexpected , and such a different setting from traditional hotels. I was worried it was going to be old and busted, but to the contrary. I loved it and so did my girl. Only thing is they need to do some maintenance to the building , but it didn't effect me in anyway at all.

Trip Type: Business Review 41 of 230charming hotel
Very charming hotel with very friendly helpful people. Bathroom had some maintenance issues.....very old shower head...peeling metal around sink. I have stayed several times and some of the bathrooms are completely updated. I will stay again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 42 of 230Wonderfully quaint boutique hotel
We had the most delightful stay at the St. Michel. It's a very old 28-room hotel with beautiful art and antique furniture everywhere, including the common areas and inside the junior suite we booked. French windows all around the room opened out for fresh air in the morning. The room was clean and surprisingly up to date...flat screen TV, a/c and free wi-fi. The day manager is a wonderful older gentleman who called me by name as I entered the hotel. The rest of the staff was satisfactory, but could have been more gracious. Staff ran the elevator and delivered ice to our room upon request. It markets itself as a European style hotel, but this was better than what we found in Europe. Continental breakfast was nice, but the clerk handling it was extremely sour, seemingly annoyed that I asked her to heat up a muffin. Parking was great on the weekend, just get a $10 roll of quarters for the meter 9am to 10pm. Weekly, parking at the garage across the street is only $9 a night. Bedding was excellent, and there was lots to see and do in Coral Gables, with the Fairchild Garden and Biltmore Hotel only a few miles away. We plan to use the hotel every time we go to Miami from now on. Excellent.

Trip Type: Family Review 43 of 230Great room for money
Quaint older but bequtiful hotel with antiques and great ambiance. Unfortunately, hotel restaraunt which had great reputation has been closed. Bar is still open.

Trip Type: Romance Review 44 of 230St Michel
Blast from the past is right - especially when it comes to the beds - they squeaked and the mattress was so old there was a dip in the middle. I felt I was sleeping in dust mite central and not at all happy about that given I have allergies. There was no restaurant and I tried to call reception at midnight and no reply - only wonder what would have happened if I was in need of help if there was an emergency. There's old world charm and then places that are just not kept well. The fruit basket was a china basket with an apple and an orange - both of which had seen better days.
