Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 13Good for the price
It's an affordable hotel in Paris. Clean. Functional. Close to metro, food, cafes, etc. I am not sure what others were looking for, but for the price you should not expect luxury. The room sloped, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable enough so that I could sleep, the shower and toilet worked, and I had a window to open/close. Very convenient to metro/Pigalle.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 13OK for one night
Hotel was in poor repair. Kids running around, hotel owners cooking in basement, overall, felt like I was invading their poersonal space. Hotel was not in good repair, was not as near a Metro as profile indicated, was OK for one night, but would have been dissatisfied if I was spending any more time than that. You get what you pay for!

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 13Has the necessities
We went to Paris to see the sites and just needed a place to sleep and shower, etc. that was convenient to the metro. This fit the bill (two blocks from Pigalle station), although it was a bit difficult to get from the train station(s) to the hotel with bags (had to change metro lines and go up/down stairs). Took the bus back to the train station which was better, but still challenging with bags. Recommend taxi when carrying bags. The hotel includes breakfast which is a good benefit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Adult establishments along walk to/from metro station, but no negative experiences were encoutered.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 13Don't even think about getting sleep
The room and bathroom were very small, but we expected that. When we got there with our 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons, the room was full. Bathroom/shower were pretty modest, too. but fine. Staff was helpful and friendly. Phone calls are not free, even for toll-free numbers, so be careful. The room was very hot, and no AC. Opening the windows helped a little, but the street was very noisy (lots of mopeds, party sounds, and car stereos) until midnight. Then, every night at 1:00am the very loud garbage truck arrives. That takes another good hour. By the time we went back to sleep it was morning. Unlucky for us, we got there at a time when they were paving the street starting at 6:00 am every morning. Get an interior room if possible.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 13Not bad
The hotel wasn't too bad of a place to stay. The majority of our time was spent there sleeping as we had pretty full days of sightseeing. The staff was nice. The place is close to a subway stop. The neighborhood is interesting - lots of guitar shops and adult oriented businesses, but nothing too crazy. There was no air conditioning in our room, so we had the windows open and the street was pretty noisy, but it eventually quieted down after 1am or so. The continental breakfast was your basic bread and jelly and coffee. If you're on a trip where you want to hang at the hotel and expect a lot of hotel ammenities, this might not be the place for you, but it worked out fine for our travel situation.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 13Good location and value for money
Good location close to Pigalle Station so convenient for traveling around Paris. There was heavy construction tearing up street in front of hotel but this should be done by end of June 08. Staff friendly and helped with directions, fluent in English. Breakfast was included, good and adequate. Good value for Paris.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 13It was OK
The hotel was OK. The elevator was the smallest thing I've ever seen so if you have a lot of luggage, you will have to do a few trips. We had cracks on our ceiling & they used band-aids to cover them - that was gross. The hotel is relatively close to gare du nord, which made it convienient for us. They serve breakfast, which many places do not.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 13Close to Metro, OK Rooms
This hotel is close to the Paris Nord station and Pigalle metro station. It is close to Moulin Rouges. The shower is small, as is the room. There are many restaurants nearby, European and American. If you are going to be out all day travelling around and looking at the sites, it is fine. For the price, it was fine. One of the gentlemen that handled the front desk was very helpful and spoke some English. You can walk from Gare Nord to the hotel (10-15 minutes) but if you are tired take the Metro to Pigalle and walk down to Rue Masse, take a left and there is the hotel.
