Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 1 of 18Brussels
this was a nice hotel. realized it is more for business travelers though. it was not as close to the heart of brussels as i would have wanted to be, but it was close to a metro station. i enjoyed the hotel and the staff was nice but i would try something closer to the city center next time only because that is where i would want to be. i would recommend this hotel if you have rented a car or dont mind taking a taxi to see the sights. it was overall very nice.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 18Great Hotel, close to metro station
Great hotel, located close to the schuman metro station, 10 mins train ride to main attractions. The bus (21) to the airport is 100 mts away (behind the hotel). We got a queen size bed, very confortable. The bathroom was clean but the shower was a bit unconfortable to get into. Front desk was helpful and overall a good hotel. Breakfast was expensive so we eat out, which I recommend anyway..

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 18Tiny Rooms, Very Friendly Staff, Great Price
The staff here were great. The hotel room was the size of a small inside stateroom on a cruise ship- very tiny and difficult to move around in. There were signs of aging in the room interior. The location is too far to walk to old city center, but right next to EU and a large park. Overall the amenities were nice, however the spa was not nearly hot enough- like a bath that has cooled off a bit. For the price, I am very satisfied. For 4 nights, I paid about what one night costs at some comparable European hotels.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 18Nice Hotel
The Hotel Silken Berlaymont was a very nice hotel. It is located right next to the European Union Commission. We stayed at the hotel over the weekend, so the neighborhood was very quiet. The room was comfortable. We were impressed with the quality of bed linens, towels, and toiletries. The hotel provided a complimentary bottle of water each day. The TV had several English-speaking channels. Breakfast was not included with the hotel and was very pricey at 20+ Euros per person. Parking was also very expensive at 24+ Euros per day. The parking garage is extremely tight! We drove a full sized sedan and almost didn't make it down the ramp without scraping the sides of our car. Large vehichles should look for another parking garage. The hotel is located near the Schuman metro stop on the 1A / 1B metro line. It's a quick ride to anywhere in the city.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 18Great hotel
This hotel was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the subway. The room was large and very quiet. The price was excellent and the staff was very helpful. Free internet would have been nice, but it was reasonable.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 18Great room for the money
Am not used to using a detachable shower head - I ended up spraying water outside the tub - there was no shower curtain - just one small glass panel to catch the water - the tub itself was very nice.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 18Excellent Business Traveler's Hotel
i really liked this hotel. it was very professional and the staff was wonderful. although breakfast wasn't included, we did pay the huge amount of money for the buffet breakfast and had a wonderful buffet. the food was very good (i thought it was a free buffet included in the price of the hotel). the room was superb and we were surrounded by a lot of very nice restaurants. this hotel was a GREAT deal for the money and had a safe, refridge, and AC in the room. it looked like this hotel catered to airline staff and to the people working at the European Nations building right next door. it was unbelievably affordable and very professional. our location was very quiet and peaceful. i think i made a mistake when i booked this hotel. i may have mistaken where the center of town was. we were pretty far away from the sites and center of town. however, it was just a subway ride away.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 12 of 18Clean And Modern
The hotel was very clean with modern architecture througout. Only downside is that the hotel is slightly outside of the center of Brussels and the area around the hotel is very quiet. You have to take the metro into the center of the city but it is no more than a 10 minute trip.
