Great location & close to Neuschwanstein & Hohenschwantstein Castles

This was a nice hotel for the money and convenient location. We had a balcony room with a great view of Neuschwantstein castle day & night (lit at night). The office staff was friendly and the owner gave helpful advice on what to see during our stay. The attached restaurant had fair prices and great food including complimentary breakfast. The place was comfortable and clean but not plush by any means. While there was no smoking in the restaurant or rooms, the front office staff smoked in the lobby which was unpleasant while we were in that area.

truly charming

standing on the lovely balcony of my room i could clearly see the castle neuscwanstein in the distance and hear the people from the biergarten right below me. Beautiful flowers all around the property. A truly special little place

Awesome Stay

We had a great view of the popular Neuschwanstein castle from the hotel, and we got a discount coupon for the tour of the castle just for staying their. The coupon was valid for each person with us. The restraunt at the hotel served excellenct authentic bavarian foods and desserts! The free breakfast buffet was also excellent.

Not bad if you going to visit the Castle and need a bed to spend the night.

Have free onsite parking, breadfest in the morning, family run hotel with good service. Hotel is not 5 stars new but it is very close to the Neuschwanstein Castle 4 minutes if you have a car. The onsite restaurant is great for dinner and price is affordable. I arrive at 4pm and visit 1st castle and check into the hotel. The next morning be sure to wake up early before the crowds gets to down and visit the other castle by 9am.
