    This hotel is close to the highway and in a safe area, although it seems nicer in the pictures than it does in real life. It seemed a little run down. The staff wasn't overly friendly and didn't seem to want to help us, our tv was broken and the front desk told us to unplug it and then replug it back in, but never checked to see if it worked. The breakfast is good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, but we were expecting a nicer hotel from what we saw in the pictures. It does have a supermarket near by and a great pizzeria close by (these were a hit with my 10 year old!).

Location. The Hotel San Marco & Formula club is located in a suburb of Parma, Italy, four kilometres from Parma Giuseppe Verdi Airport and the Fontanellato Fortress. Parma city centre is six kilometres from the hotel.

Hotel Features. With a traditional, neoclassical, white facade, this villa-style three- storey hotel has a bright, contemporary lobby with white sofas and tiled flooring. The hotel houses a fitness room and a sauna, and offers massage treatments. Other amenities include complimentary airport transfers for five or more people, a 24-hour front desk and public wireless Internet access. The grounds feature a heliport and complimentary garage parking is available on site.

A complimentary buffet breakfast is served every morning at Hotel San Marco. L'Incontro restaurant serves traditional regional dishes and Italian fare. The hotel also features an extensive cellar of regional wines. Coffee is served under the porch or in the garden gazebo.
