We truly loved our stay at the Hotel Royal Corin! The staff was absolutley wonderful and helped us with all of our needs! We booked all of our tours at the front desk and we had a GREAT time! The mineral pools are relaxing and the overall feel of the hotel was great! Breakfast was included and was delicious!!! Thank you Hotel Royal Corin for making our stay wonderful! I would definitely recommend this area of the country over Tamarindo (the beach area). We stayed in both locations and wish we had stayed in La Fortuna and at the Hotel Royal Corin longer. The people are much nicer and there is so much to do.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations, especially considering what we paid for it. The hotel public spaces are impressive, and only surpassed by the amazing rooms. We stayed in a Junior Suite that was awesome. The amenities in the room are complemented by the comfort they offer. Everything is high quality. The staff makes you feel as if you're the only one staying there, even though the hotel is a magnet for couples and families of all ages and backgrounds. The staff helps you find the best deals in the area for excursions, and they take care of all the logistics. This hotel has set the standard for us in terms of customer service, overall comfort, and sheer beauty.

We loved this hotel. This was by far the best of the places we stayed in Costa Rica. Pros: The rooms were so comfortable and clean! The bed was incredibly comfortable, soft and supportive. The spa was beautifully decorated, and they gave great discounts for all the packages. They didn't try to rip us off on tour packages, the prices they charge at the hotel and book are the same as every other tour desk we looked at. Breakfast everyday was fresh fruits and amazing variety of food that changed every day. The pool area was a fantastic highlight, such a well designed lagoon with thermal pools and a swim up bar, On the cool nights or even during the rain the pool was a warm 40 degrees C. Cons: One minor complain is that the fancy shower thing they installed was actually kinda cheapy, and sprayed water everywhere. It was installed too high and didn't work well, wasted money for the hotel. Fit and finish of the showers need work. The sauna in the pool area needs alot of cleaning and alot more dry heat, it was muggy and moldy in there. Driving there from Liberia was very scary in the rain and there aren't huge signs for it like some other resorts.

The staff here was remarkable. The facilities are top notch. Everything was super clean and the bed very comfortable. This hotel does not "fit in" with the rest of its surroundings, but I am not one that really cares about that. This is not for someone who wants something more "authentic" to Costa Rica. This is more for someone like me who has gotten spoiled over the years by fantastic large hotels. If you are like me, then you won't be disappointed in your stay here. The location is great - very convenient to La Fortuna and the activities around Arenal. The hotel has free internet in the lobby, which was a nice touch. They are happy to schedule any tours, dinners, etc. We had a fantastic stay here!
