    I booked the room three hours before I checked in, I was expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The only downside was the restaurant closes, and room service stops at 10:30 pm, with no restaurants nearby.

    Initially, we were checked into an occupied room, but that was corrected quickly once we notified the front desk. Luckly, the person whose room we entered was not there when we walked in. Our new room was unoccupied (thank God), clean, nicely decorated with the 2 double beds we requested. The reason we were given for the room mistake was a computer glitch. Also, we choose this hotel due to the 24 hour room service and the restaurant in the hotel that are described online. Its food service hours did not seem to coincide with our trip hours. We found out that the room service was only avaible when the restaurant was open. The restaurant was open only for specific hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We checked in around 3:00PM and wanted to get lunch and both the restaurant and room service were closed. Also, you need to call the hotel once you arrive in the airport for the free shuttle to come pick you up. Since we were not aware of this, we ended up taking a shuttle that we paid for. Great decorating but they should update their online info regarding food service and how to use their shuttle service.

Location. The Hotel Preston is located in Nashville, Tenn., just three miles from the Nashville International Airport and five miles from the Grand Ole Opry.

Hotel Features. Classic American cuisine is served for all three meals at the Parkside Grille, while live entertainment and snacks are featured at Bernie's Lounge. Business needs are met with the hotel's nine conference rooms, wireless Internet access for a fee and business services. The hotel features an outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness room provides access to cardiovascular and weight machines.

Guestrooms. Guests can order from the pillow menu, access wireless Internet access and sip Tazo tea or Starbucks coffee from contemporary guestrooms. The "You Want It, You Got It" amenities program features in-room lava lamps, pet fish, books and CDs. Additional amenities available for a fee include such creative items as "Romantic Notions," with bubble bath, aromatherapy candles, wine and chocolate-dipped strawberries, or "Gramma's Love," with milk and straight-from- the-oven cookies.
