Outstanding hotel

THIS WAS MY SECOND STAY AT THIS HOTEL WITHIN THE LAST 8 MONTHS.I WILL ALWAYS STAY AT THIS HOTEL WHEN VISITING. WHEN DISCOUNTED THIS HOTEL IS FAR SUPERIOR TO OTHERS. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED AT THE EDGE OF THE CITY. ABOUT 15 MINUTE DRIVE FROM AIRPORT.IT IS MUCH EASIER TO FIND IN THE DAYTIME THAN NIGHT.

Good one nighter

Hotel is located on the outskirts of San Jose and right near the highway to the airport. Great restaurant with good prices and free breakfast buffet. Room was overall clean, but glasses were very dirty and appeared to have been hand wiped instead of washed. Neighborhood was average for San Jose and Costa Rica, don't expect Bermuda on a trip here. But the people are nice and it is a perfect start point for a trip.

Great room for money

Booked this hotel at the beginning and end of trip to Costa Rica. Arrived late at night and had a little difficulty finding hotel but it was due to bad directions from rental company. The rooms were not large but not a problem. Nice decor throughout hotel and complimentary breakfast was very nice. Not many restaurant within walking distance but cheap cab ride brought us to a nice one.

Exceptional Value and Service

Great place to stay before, after or during excursions into Costa Rica. Nearby restaurants, stores, shopping and a beautiful park. Hotel has an above average restaurant (wonderful complementary breakfast), knowledgeable & courteous front desk employees fluent in English (cudos to Jorge who went out of his way searching for a specific item for us) & courtesy airport transportation. Nice lounge area with free internet rooms on each floor. Secure and safe environment.

Parque Del Lago

Hotel is central to many things to do in the city of San Jose. Free local gym pass and free breakfast was great. The breakfast included Costa Rica's typical food, gallo pinto and plantains...mmmmm!

Nice, Clean, and Secure

I was very satisfied with my stay. If you must stay in San Jose, this is a very comfortable choice. Although this is a very quiet end of San Jose, there were always guards posted at the gated entrance to the property. Very close to the roads leading out of town to the west coast, so we didn't have to deal with the congestion of downtown when we left. Breakfast was buffet style and offered many options. This place is one of only a few places I'd stay in San Jose.
