A romantic get-away

We stayed in one of the cottages and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a beautiful view of a lake and the ski slopes. Canadian geese often visited outside our picture window while ducks constantly scooted across the water. The cozy cottage had everything we needed. including three fireplaces: in the living room, bedroom and on the patio beside the hot tub. We felt we were off in the wilderness and yet reataurants, grocery stores and Park City itself were just five minutes away. Though it snowed for most of our visit, the roads were always cleared.

Uneven but happy

Me and my 5-year old got a very good deal on a 4-night skiing trip. The place is nice but not quite a 4-star hotel. All in all satisfied, but I would not pay full price. Stayed in a cottage: very generous space, large living room, bathtub with jacuzzi flat-screen TV, gas-fireplace, kitchenette, jacuzzi on smallish balcony. The walk from the cottage to the heated outdoor swimming pool is too long if you go there with small children, especially the walk back. also, from the cottage you walk a bit to breakfast and to catch the shuttle. next time I would request a room in the main building. positive: comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, fairly clean, nice breakfast buffet, hotel-shuttle to ski areas works. negative: not close to ski areas or Main Street. one night, turn-down maid service showed up at 9p.m. to make beds. friendly but clueless staff in the breakfast room. the lobby looks inviting but the self-service afternoon tea station and the unlit fireplace contribute to a "hostel-feel". There's a feeling as if someone took over the place who doesn't really know how to run a hotel but tries really hard.

Rooms are very comfy, but...

We stayed in an deluxe executive cottage. Excellent room - microwave, dishwasher, two burner stove, washer/dryer, comfy bed, two plasma screens, large bathroom, outdoor hottub etc. The only drawback is that an internal door separates you from the neighboring room and it is not soundproofed. So if you happen to get noisy neighbors then you will be very disappointed.

Couldn't Have Been Better

My wife and I stayed 4 nights last week in the executive cottage which faces the Park City Ski Slopes. The view was breathtaking literally. The room itself had 3 fireplaces (bedroom, living room and balcony) and a personal hot tub on the balcony which was clean and came in very handy after 6 hrs a day of skiing. The decor and cleanliness of the room and bathrooms were perfect. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but when we did (like at check-in and check-out) they were very pleasant. Hotel Park City is listed in "The Leading Small Hotels of the World" rightfully so. Next time we go skiing in Utah, I will only look at one place to stay....it was hard to leave.

"Kudos"

Sure it can be pricey, but with the Hotel Park City, you definitely get what you pay for. The service was brillieant, the grounds were beautiful (it's right on a well-maintained golf course). The rooms were comfortable and modern (2 LCD's and a BOSE system). The attached Ruth's Chris was also stellar. All Staff were professional, pleasant, and helpful. It certainly set the bar high for our next anniversary.

Beautiful room good value

The facilities were excellent. We had some minor issues with the service -- once they got a room service order wrong and they reserved an airport shuttle for too many people so I was initially overcharged. All of these things were fixed quicly and overall I highly recommend this hotel.

very enjoyable stay

we wanted to get away for a few days and were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Our third trip to Park City and decided to stay on a golf course and a hotel with a spa. This hotel is more like an exclusive private lodge with a very warm atmosphere. Our room was warm and cozy. a great romantic getaway.

Outstanding experience

Upon check-in we were given the option to upgrade for a nominal to the cottages since the hotel was not full. We opted for this choice as the cottages included several upgraded amenities and a beautiful view. Definitely worth it! The service was superb! Would love to return again.

Worth the money!

Did have hard time finding parking space. Ended up parking on the side of the golf course and getting my car watered.

"quiet and relaxing"

The room far exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful--helped us plan two fun filled days. Try to get a downstairs room with a deck for easy outside access. We will DEFINITELY stay here again! oh--and try the spa!
