Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 242Great hotel. Deal with parking fees.
Great place, location and services. Parking is expensive. Will certainly stay there again, but will park in the street.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 242Great place, modern yet classy
Modern chic comfortable clean. Stayed here twice and had excellent experiences both times. Only down side is $30 a night for valet service.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 242Great Experience!
I attended a conference at UCLA and found the location perfect - a nice 10 - 15 min walk through a neighborhood to get there. I felt safe and comfortable walking during the day and in the evening. The hotel staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. My room was lovely, the bed super comfy, and the bathroom clean and spacious. I'll be back!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 4 of 242Absolutely Wonderful
I really enjoyed this hotel and will definitely stay here again. What you see in the pictures is actually what the room looks like. Very clean, modern and cozy. I felt really relaxed during my stay except my room was directly behind the elevator which allowed me to hear the elevator go up and down all night. The staff members are absolutely amazing and are so helpful. I suffered jet lag from my flight and on the day of checkout they held my bags while I went to get fresh air and a bite to eat. If you want to see the sites like the Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills this hotel is a $30 cab ride away.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 242Things we wish we had
We would prefer having coffee pots in the rooms instead of needing to go downstairs to get coffee. A pot in every room would have been much more convenient. That is the only thing we wish you had, except we did miss having a jacuzzi to relax after a hard day.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 242Posh hotel close to Beverly Hills
This is a great boutique hotel and so close to Beverly Hills and many of the entertainment business lawyers. If you need something cool, this is it. The valet, front desk and room service were all more than helpful and made it a great stay. I would stay here again without a doubt.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 242Great hotel, given the location
There are limited choices for "nice" hotels in the Westwood area, especially when visiting without a rental car. This hotel is one of the few I recommend. It is great... clean, comfortable, and the staff has always been very helpful... however, the hotel is located a few blocks from stores and restaurants. The lack of vending machines coupled with overpriced minibar preys upon the snack, desperate traveler.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 242Great Experience
I researched many area hotel reviews, looking for comfort, cleanliness, and quiet, as well as good value and location.I found it all at the Palomar, and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone needing accomodations in this area.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 242Nice Hotel, Quiet Neighborhood, Easy Access
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Palomar in LA Westwood. The hotel is nothing fancy in terms of architecture, but simple, modern and clean. The rooms have a retro look inside and are very clean. Seems almost to be newly remodeled in the last year. The rooms are the basic "box" that you would get anywhere, but again the furniture, bedding and materials used in the rooms gives it a higher class retro feel. The location is pretty convenient from the 405 and to local areas such as Hollywood, Santa Monica and that area. The staff was very friendly. Greeted me at check-in with friendly discussion and genuine interest. Only two complaints: 1. The hotel parking is $30 a night valet only. There is some parking on surrounding streets that is free. I was lucky and able to find it both nights there, but you have to be really careful as some of it is for the residents of the area. I just wish they would have a self-park for $10 to $15. 2. Upon check-out, I was told I had a $5 mini-bar charge. I never used it. They quickly took it off - but like many hotels I have been too - these min-bars can often be easy to set-off and generally I don't like them. Overall, a great hotel, great location and very good staff. I highly recommend it!

This is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time. The service, room and experience was great. This would make a great romantic getaway hotel.
