Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 65As always- Kimpton excels!
I have stayed in many Kimpton Hotel properties, and have learned that they will always be 5 stars across the board. They are "boutique" type properties, and each one is truly unique in its own way. This one had a different twist I found very nice- a sign at the front entrance with the names of the four-legged guests expected to arrive welcoming them, with a bowl of water in case they were thirsty from their trip. They also kept dog biscuits at the front desk! Great hotel- great srvice- great experience.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 65Pet friendly and comfortable, but noisy
Being pet friendly was a plus. The beds were comfortable. The only problem was that sound traveled excessively through the doors that connected the adjacent room. You could here everything the family next door was saying including the jumping of kids on the beds and the whining of the children.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 65Great Hotel with Great Service but not so great restaurant
Hotel Palomar is one of my favorite hotels and I always try to stay in one when I travel. My only disappointment with the Atlanta hotel was the service in the Pucci restaurant -- slow and sometimes the food arrived barely warm. One evening I was sitting in the lounge with a few colleagues and the waitress completely abandoned us and the bartender had to come to our rescue and bring the appetizers and drinks. On the other hand, room service was perfect.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 65Midtown Atlanta excellence
Great warm and friendly staff. The evening wine reception was a nice touch (5-6pm) Several very good restaurants in the area (walking distance) Pacci in hotel was excellent, as well as Marlowe's (1 block) and ECCO (my favorite) also 1 block. Publix grocery is also nearby for snacks, etc, unless you can afford a $4 Snickers bar for the mini-bar. Be prepared if you have a car the overnight parking is now $30 a night, not $20 as mentioned in earlier reviews. WAY TOO MUCH! so consider this expense when looking at the overall price.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 65Great Romantic Weekend
My wife and I were very impressed with the Hotel Palomar, it was a great value. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the wine reception. The room was very comfortable and we liked the decor. The hotel is well situated to easily access many of Atlanta's attractions.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 65One of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in
There was no coffee in the room (it was downstairs in the am) and the valet parking seemed steep but after all it is in the middle of Atlanta so at least we knew the car was safe. Great security - you had to use your room key in the elevator to get to the guest floors. Employees were very helpful and it was seriously one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in! And the price was great. I would definately stay there again.

Great new Kimpton in the heart of Atlanta. Loved the Terrace restaurant/bar. Great service throughout the hotel. Will certainly stay here again next time I am in town. Love the style of the robes in the rooms. Really nice bar downstairs.

The room was great. The parking of my vehicle for the night was pricey.
