Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 681Got What We Paid For
The hotel was relatively inexpensive and very close to Disney parks. We were able to walk to the parks in about 15 minutes, saving on parking fees. The pictures make the hotel look nicer than it really is. It's been remodeled recently, but once you're in the room it's clear that it was done on a budget. There was a hole in our wall near the bathroom sink. The TV was nice. Overall, it was a great buy. If you don't care about staying in the most luxurious hotel, this is a great pick. The best advice I got from the hotels.com website reviews was to ask for a quiet room. The pool is open 24 hours and the hotel is near the freeway. We called to confirm our room as we were nearing Anaheim and requested a quiet room away from the freeway and pool and were able to get one. I would highly recommend doing that. There is also a parking fee that I wasn't aware of when we booked the room. It's pretty much the same as the Disney park fee, but they charge overnight whereas Disney charges by the day. You'll pay double in parking if you park overnight at the hotel and during the day at the park.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 681Pretty good overall.
The rooms could use a little upkeep but overall we were satisfied with the hotel. Be warned that the restaurant serves small portions for lunch/dinner. The walk to Disneyland was an easy 10-15 minutes.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 681Great Room for the Money
My experience at this hotel was pretty good. Although the staff was not as friendly as i expected them to be. I was not immediately acknowledge as I was walking up to the front desk, both checking in and checking out. On the other hand, the Valet service was great, the guys were always pleasant and engaged in conversation with me and my boyfriend as we were going in and out.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 681Nothing Special!
Nothing Special! The photos are as usual...better than reality! I dont see what part of this hotel"caters" to families... with the bar /lounge area it caters more to young people without children. Room was nothing special and needs to be updated with mini refrigerators. Close to Disney and you can see the fireworks show from hotel. Overall, for the price we might stay here again but charging $10 a day to park your car is RIDICULOUS!!!!

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 681Comfort and very little compromise
The room is fantastic. It's everything you need to be comfortable, but with great surprises. The best features include the flat screen television, the shower 'wand', the great desk space and chair, and the chic, hip ambiance of the very hotel and it's amenities. The downside to things are not huge compromises: 1. The walk to Disneyland, for instance, takes 12 minutes (timed, twice)and wasn't fun or easy for little ones, especially near the freeway entrance. 2. The bathroom is not within the same caliber as the rest of the room. The tub was peeling and it had a 'mental hospital' vibe. Not a dealbreaker, mind you. 3. The sound of morning traffic, may or may not be an issue. To me, it's white noise, but to others, it was just noise. -- Overall, the hotel and its staff were accommodating and worth the price.

i had no idea that this was a motel, rather than a hotel. the noise level was very high as my room was facing the highway. they set me up in a different room, which was much better. the staff was very friendly, which made up for any issues

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 681We Keep Going Back...
Hotel Menage is a great hotel for a great price, especially for 20-somethings who are looking for a little fun in Anaheim. I'm not sure if I'd bring kids here, but adults will love it.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 10 of 681Great hotel but...
I loved the restraunt they had there and the rooms were very nice. The only think I didn't like was I didn't realize the canons for the Disneyland fireqorks are right behind the hotel. When they go off every night the room shook for at least 15 minutes!

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 681Expected more from a 3.5 star rating
Hotel was shabby chic, with the emphasis on shabby. Bathroom is very small and the shower ceiling was badly patched where it looked like mold was still a problem. The noise level from the highway is extremely loud, do not stay here for R&R. The bedframes stick out too far, and all of us wound up hitting them...Ouch! The good points, nice restaurant, cool bar & the staff was friendly. You can view the Disney fireworks from the comfortable pool loungers.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 681Cool Restaurant Idea
The restaurant features "street faire" food, smaller portions, small prices, pick several, mix and match, many food regions to choose from.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 681Room was Sub Par
While the overall look of this hotel was beautiful and the POOL wonderful there were some major flaws. Not much the hotel can do about the location (near the freeway) but when you go outside your room (at least on the 3rd or 4th floor) ALL you can hear is the FREEWAY noise. And it is HORRIBLE! They played music which is nice but WAY too loud and I was SO dissapointed in the room itself. It had a WONDERFUL bed, nice desk and chair, cute couch and was comfortable THAT way, BUT............the walls were old and cracked, bathtub leaked and was OLD, cracks in bathroom, white ucky paint...it RUINED the ambieance of the whole experience.....like putting beautiful new furniture into a condemned house!!!!! It was a pleasant stay and the staff was very nice and courteous. I would say that we got a good price except if the normal prices were generally MORE than in our opinion the room wasn't WORTH more...We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Hesperia a few days before arriving in Anehiem and paid the SAME and the room was BEAUTIFUL, service great and a beautiful INDOOR pool so I guess we have decided to stay at the Holiday Inns from now on. It was nice to be so close to Disneyland but we won't be staying again and I won't be reccommending it to anyone.
