    It was in a wonderful setting and the staff was friendly and helpful. A perfect spot to enjoy the local area and explore on foot. The room was very nice and the balcony was too even though it was a community balcony. I would stay here again as the price was great for what was offered.

    We were there at the high Italian vacation season and the town was very crowded. The mattresses were very old and the hotel somewhat run down but the people were lovely. I left some items in the room and the desk clerk who was very helpful and spoke English quite well sent them to me on the honor system! There is an elevator in the hotel if one finds that necessary. Night life in the area was noisy.

Location. The Hotel Malcesine is located in Malcesine, Italy, by the shores of Lake Garda, 500 metres from Scaliga Castle and one kilometre from the cable car that ascends to the summit of Monte Baldo.
