Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 17Great location, great staff, room had minor disappointments
The hotel is really nice. The metro is literally accross the street from the hotel. The staff at the front desk are super. They will accomadate requests if available. The only thing I didn't like about my room was a bit of mold by the sink area and scratched marks on the floor. Otherwise, the bathroom and room were pretty clean.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 17Great location, pleasant hotel
Hotel Le Walt is in a great location in the heart of the 7e arrondisement, basically across the street from the charming Rue Cler shops and with unobstructed views of the Eiffel Tower from high floors. The service is pleasant and the rooms (while small and somewhat oddly decorated) are reasonably comfortable. Free internet is a huge plus as well. If you are a fan of walking or taking the metro around town and are looking for a pleasant, centrally-located hotel, this is a great option. Skip the overpriced breakfast and grab something at a neighborhood cafe though.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 17Fantastic
Fantastic hotel, great staff, great room, even better location. Supermarket across the street and bakery a few doors down. The restaurant on the corner had the friendliest staff we encountered in Paris. Metro station outside front door. Just a 2 block walk to view the eiffel tower. Only complaint is hotel breakfast, knew it was overpriced, and definitely not worth the money. You're better off getting orange juice at market and pastries at bakery everyday. Would recommend to anyone and definitely stay at again.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 17Great hotel
We had a pleasant stay (one night) at the Hotel le Walt. It was very clean and the service was great. The large paintings add a unique feel to each room. This hotel also has a good location - very close to the Metro and the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, there isn't a good view of the tower from most of the rooms. Nonetheless, it held up its star rating (currently 3.5).

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 17Great Location and Outstanding Staff
End of April 2008, we stayed ten days at le Walt and had a great experience. The hotel is very clean and located in a pleasant, safe and not too touristic neighborhood. Metro station, grocery store, pharmacies, patisseries, cafes, post office, restaurants and a pedestrian street filled with local food retailers are next to the hotel. The hotel is well located between les Invalides and the Eiffel tower. We opted for a smaller room with Eiffel tower view (502). All was very clean, well maintained and worked well. The Staff has been extremely professional and courteous and tried whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable (booked restaurants, provided umbrellas, called friends for recommendations, took the time to speak with us, etc.). I'm used to palaces and leading hotels of the world but really appreciated the courtesy, customized and dedicated service provided by le Walt Staff. A place I definitely recommend.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 17Nice room, great location, affordable for the business traveller
Located at a metro stop, not far from the Eiffel Tower. Many restaurants in the vicinity, including several open quite late.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 17Friendly Staff, Great Location
We stayed at Hotel le Walt for about a week during a business trip. It is two blocks away from looking directly at the Eiffel Tower and surrounded by restaurants and patisseries. The staff were amazing. Always helpful with directions, calling taxis, and booking reservations. A great experience.
