Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 408An Okay Hotel
The hotel is a bit rundown. We didn't get the advertised tea service upon check-in. It is picturesque but they could use a refurbishing or a renovation. And better housekeeping. We had to look for some things that went missing (our toddler's the suspect, not the hotel), and we found crayons, used tissue under the bed. Ew. WE didn't see that until towards the end fortunately, so I wasn't totally weirded out.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 408Kabuki was decent
My stay at Kabuki hotel was pretty good. I think someone hard to please would give it a 3 out of 5 and someone easy to please would give it a 5 out of 5, so I'm right in between. The hotel was pretty easy to find and the parking is not that difficult, but it is a little pricey. I parked below the hotel for the cost of $16 a day. Check in was very simple and the staff was nice. The room was just a little dirty. The 2 bathroom doors had some stains on them and the sink had a couple hairs in it. Oh and they didn't leave the bath salts for the hot tub on the first day. The rest of the room was good and free internet was great. I think the hotel's location is just a little too far from downtown if you want to walk (unless you really like walking), so I always drove places. If you don't have a car, I think the only options are bus or taxi. The hotel is right next to a couple malls that have a ton of Japanese and Korean restaurants and even a couple Chinese. Lots of little shops in the area as well. I think my experience at Kabuki was good, but I know I won't stay there again. If I go back, I think I will stay somewhere in downtown.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 408Stylish
This was our second stay at this wonderful hotel in Japantown. And as always, the staff is professional and friendly, the hotel service staff also very helpful. Parking is super easy, do it yourself under the mall next to the hotel , and remember to ask for parking validation at the front desk when you check out, you'll save $15.00. The room was perfect. Note: the rooms in Garden Section of the hotel have no privacy door to the bathroom so if you're shy ask for another section of the hotel. Looking forward to our next stay.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 408The little extras
The room was nice though nothing special for the price. The best part was the Japaneese bath. I thought the first day tea service and the comp. beverage was a nice touch to make customers feel special. I was most impressed with the dinner at the bar that I had. The price was reasonable, the portion large and the tast was great. The hotel workers were all very nice and helpful.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 408Unique interior
For standard king room, beautiful and unique interior decorations. Japanese soaking tub was a definitely worth having!! Housekeeping staff forgot to provide complimentary soaking salts the first night. Not too sure what happened to the tea service described on their website. Best to park in the adjoining Japan Center.

The room was not ready as reserved ( I reserved Corner King with Japanese bath tub. But the reserved room was without Japanese bath tub. Finally, I got the room with Japanese bath tub, but not Corner King). Reception was not friendly, but bureaucratic.
