    While the rooms are in fact cute - the building is old and the lobby is in need of repair. We had a cute room on the 6th floor but it was an old building in need of work.

Location. The Hotel Iroha Ryokan is situated just two blocks from the Sanjo entertainment district and the Kamogawa River. The Gion geisha district lies just one kilometer (0.6 mile) away, and the Nijo Castle is two kilometers (1.2 miles) from the hotel. Local transportation can be found at the Sanjo subway station 100 meters (109 yards) away.

Hotel Features. Amenities at the Hotel Iroha Ryokan include complimentary Internet access in public areas, traditional Japanese baths, on-site restaurants, a spa tub and secure parking. Event catering, concierge assistance, and dry cleaning are among the services offered by the multi-lingual staff.
