    We chose this hotel as it gave us an easy drive to France and our get-away day to the Italian Riviera. Although it is in the middle of a truck stop and is a conference center, we were blown away by how quiet it was and with food choices we found nowhere else. If you have a rental car, it is a short drive to a Metro stop with free street parking. The dinner buffet was out of this word wonderful. For 14 EUR, dinner was an antipasto buffet followed by a choice between a pasta or meat dish. Of course I paid extra for the leche dessert. The front desk gave us a map and drew directions, always with a smile on their faces. This group gets our best service award.

Location. The Hotel Interporto is located on the main Caselle highway in Rivalta Di Torino, Italy, 14 kilometres from Turin's city centre in the region of Piedmont. Turin Airport is 15 kilometres away.

Hotel Features. The reception of this modern four-storey hotel is open 24-hours a day and amenities the hotel offers an onsite gym and sauna. Other amenities include a snack bar, mini-market, and television lounge. The lounge bar is open round the clock, and wireless Internet access is also available (surcharge). Those arriving by car will find complimentary parking facilities.

Hotel Interporto offers a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning. The Oleandro Restaurant serves Piedmont and Italian dishes in a modern setting. Sample menu dishes include Bollito Misto Piemontese, a regional meat stew.

The Hotel Interporto has 12 conference rooms, the largest of which is able to accommodate up to 500 people. Smaller meeting rooms, audio-visual equipment, and event catering are also available.

Guestrooms. The 112 air-conditioned guestrooms have simple decor in warm Mediterranean hues of burnt orange, tiled floors, balconies, and modern wooden furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television, wireless Internet, direct-dial phones, minibars, and hair dryers. All guestrooms are wheelchair accessible.

Expert Tip. The Quadrilatero area of Turin offers some of the city's finest eateries hidden away amidst the baroque buildings of its winding back streets. A good way to try local dishes is in an apertivo, where from 7 p.m. most bars serve pre-dinner drinks and complimentary snacks.
