Good value for money.

Hotel was a very good value for the money. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel very conveniently located to Metro.

Great for Paris Beginners.

This hotel had the most helpful staff I've ever met. I came to Paris speaking about 3 key phrases, and they helped me in small language tips (including how to buy metro tickets) as well as easy ways around the city and open/close times of most popular sights. The downside was that the elevator is exceptionally small and hard to get through with a full sized piece of luggage. As well, our room had two twin beds set about 8 inches apart, so that they were too close to be apart and too far apart to be together. Otherwise, the room was very nice and all of the major comforts were though. No in-room internet, but there was a free computer downstairs and a low priced internet cafe directly across the street.

Budget Paris hotel with easy access to metro

Close to the subway. Many restaurants near by, a McDonalds one minute from the hotel. The neighborhood is working class with a diverse mixture of people. A great value if you are looking for a place to sleep while visiting Paris.

Very near the Metro

Great value for money. Considering how European low-midrange accommodations are: very tight, very small, no space wasted. Walking distance to the Sacre Coeur and Montmartre district.

Needs to be fixed up

Well, it was cheap, but it had some mold growing, and was ultra small. The staff are very amicable and helpful, no complaints there. Just wish there wasnt the mold and the cracks in the paint in the room. Made it feel dirty. Hmmm.

Excellent bargain

Paris is an expensive city. Make no mistake, this is a budget hotel but it was one of the nicer such places I have visited. It's a little outside of most of the tourist areas but it is on the Metro line which is very convienent to get anywhere in the city. The surrounding neighborhood is okay but not great. I would recommend it to the budget traveler going alone or in pairs.

Far from the city center and not a good neighborhood.

You could take the metro, is like 15 minutes with some stops. The surrounding neighborhood is not as good.

You get what you pay for

This hotel was on the cheap side, especially for Paris. And you will get what you pay for. The hotel rooms were small, no breakfast, and located on the edge of town. But the hotel rooms were clean, we had plent of fresh towels everyday, and the staff was polite and helpful. There was a metro station about a 60 second walk from the front door of the hotel, but it was about a 15 min ride into the heart of Paris (not that bad). The only thing that would make me hesitate about this hotel is that its not in a very nice neiborhood. I wouldnt go walking around by myself after dark, but if your traveling with other people you would be fine.

Would not recomend

Although the staff was nice, they were not able to provide me with a bill at the time of check out, so I couldn't know what charges I had incured.. also internet was down all 3 days I was there... It can not take that long to fix it when you are a hotel accomodating international guests! I had to pay for internet cafes the entire time...

Good location in the heart of Paris 18th arrondissement

Convenient location near "Porte de Clignancourt" metro station, short walk to "Sacre Coeur" cathedral and 18th arrondissementle", and friendly hotel staff.

Great Cheap Hotel

I tried this because of the reviews on this site. The area was not as scary as I expected, very close to the Metro. We bought unlimited Metro passes and explored everywhere from this hotel. We also bought breakfast/lunch from the shops right next to the Metro. There is an excellent bakery there. Also cheap wine from the grocery across the street. (It closes early, so prepare). Also walked to the Sacre Coer which you can see from your window. It's a lot of stairs! With this hotel we did Paris for cheap!
