Indifferent and Smoky

The staff seemed very harried and really didn't make guests feel welcome or well-served. Our first room smelled like smoke even though it was supposedly non-smoking. We called to the desk and asked for a different room, but they never called us back, so we had to go down to the desk again. The second room was clean-smelling, but the fridge was broken and the room was hot, so we had to open the window during the night (which made it less quiet). The breakfast was quite chaotic and the wait staff hovered over tables ready to grab plates and cups as soon as people put their forks down, which made it very unrelaxing. No smiles from anyone. The halls stank like stale smoke. The Internet was not free and the TV was partly pay-TV that required vigilance in case you accidently approved the charge. It was a great location right there by the museums and Altstadt.

Needs improvement

I had a suite, where there was noaircon in the bedroom and it really got hot. The breakfast was really really bad, probably the worst that I have ever had after paying through my nose for a 4 star category hotel.
