    For the price we paid we were put in a crampy little room with no basic amenities like refrigerator, coffee machine etc.., TV looked antiquated with very few channels. Though the people worked were good, they seemed to be overloaded with work. There was one small elevator for the entire hotel, holding max. of 3-4 people. The hotel looked cramped w/no room service... We will never go there or recommend this hotel to any of our friends or relatives

    Outdated tiny rooms with minimal services. This hotel is very noisy all night and apparently caters to the Latin American budget traveler. Not a hotel I would recommend or revisit regardless of price.

Location. The Hotel Gotty is located in Paris, France, one kilometre from the Opera and 1.5 kilometres from the Louvre and the Sacre Coeur. Gare du Nord railway station is one kilometre away.

Hotel Features. Situated in a quiet street, the six-storey Hotel Gotty is set in a typical 19th- century Parisian property, accessible by lift. Amenities include wireless Internet access and a safe-deposit box at the 24-hour front desk where staff can assist with travel and tourist bookings. Garage parking is available nearby.

Breakfast is available for a surcharge each morning in the hotel lounge.

Guestrooms. The 44 guestrooms have French country decor with floral wallpaper in yellow or burgundy tones, and solid oak furniture. All have satellite television, direct-dial phones, wireless Internet access, safes, and minibars. Bathrooms include hair dryers.

Expert Tip. One of the more unusual museums in Paris, Les Egouts is dedicated to the city's sewers. Guided tours allow visitors to explore the bowels of the city, where the hero of Victor Hugo's 'Les Miserables', Jean Valjean, evaded the law. The museum is located at Pont de l'Alma (Place de la Resistance) opposite 93 Quai d'Orsay.
