Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 186Great Weekend Stay
This is a great hotel for a weekend stay in the City. The newly renovated rooms, though not large, are very comfortable with great finishes. The bathroom is of ample size and well lit (the sink is a bit awkward though). The location is great for day tripping and is surrounded by good places to eat and things to see. We felt we had a high-end stay without the high-end price; we'd stay here again.

The hotel was nice, however, the location was not great. There is really nothing to do around and not too many food options.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 186Great stay and prime location
The thing that i liked most about Hotel Felix is that the outside it's a classic Chicago Building with older architecture but once you walk inside it's a modern paradise. Great place to stay!

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 186Very nice - Very small
Extremely nice hotel. Valet and service was superior, but the room is extremely small. When I read some reviews people were saying the rooms were small, but I figured it was just because those people were used to "huge" rooms.. I am not used to "huge" rooms, small ones actually and this was the smallest one ever!!! Besides that service and hotel was nice... Had some unpleasant meetings with homeless but the stay was a good one.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 186I prefer intelligent hotels to green hotels.
The room was lacking a closet as well as a luggage rack which meant that our suitcase sat on the floor and our clothes were not hung up. (A waist-high rod with a curtain is not a closet.) Our bed was not a queen but a double which is odd for a newish hotel and the sink was so shallow and the faucet so low that it was impossible to really wash one's face. Of course there was no counterspace next to sink for toiletries which is de rigeur these days for some unknown reason. The pillows were small, square and foam which guaranteed two mornings of crooked necks. Our room looked out on a brick wall. The morning coffee consisted of coffee, paper cups, and tiny containers of half and half. Would it be that much trouble to put some cartons of milk on ice? The coffee was also so hot it burnt my tongue!

Room was VERY small and the $42.00/night valet parking fee was ridiculous.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 186Nice Finishes, Small Rooms
good hotel for the right price, the rooms here are definitely on the small side and are fine for 1-2 night stays. renovations are very nice and the finishes are great, but spacing in the rooms is tight. awkward sink fixtures in the bathroom.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 186Great Boutique Hotel
Genuinely friendly service overall. Room "cozy" as you'd expect in a city center - but well appointed; bathroom clean and modern; toiletries hi-end; HDTV was a nice touch for viewing the game; bed was above-average in comfort. Adjoining restaurant served a tasty breakfast, good coffee.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 186Excellent
The entire hotel was very nice, from the entrance to the room. I was concerned from what I had read regarding the room size, I found it to be on the smaller side, but not where you couldn't walk in the room. We stayed there for Halloween, the updated hotel was very nice, but on a long night it felt good to fall a sleep on that VERY comfy bed.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 186Great Location
Hotel is in a great location. Very clean and secure. Restaurant in hotel serves breakfast. Rooms are small but comfortable. They do not have feather pillows at this point. Staff is very friendly. Great complimentary coffee in the lobby during the morning.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 186good deal
Nice Hotel, the lobby smelled a little odd but was nice and clean. Unfortunately I had no breakfast included in my rate. Though you are very central there is no good breakfast place near by. Would stay there again.
