Hotel Felix Chicago

Excellent

The entire hotel was very nice, from the entrance to the room. I was concerned from what I had read regarding the room size, I found it to be on the smaller side, but not where you couldn't walk in the room. We stayed there for Halloween, the updated hotel was very nice, but on a long night it felt good to fall a sleep on that VERY comfy bed.

Great Location

Hotel is in a great location. Very clean and secure. Restaurant in hotel serves breakfast. Rooms are small but comfortable. They do not have feather pillows at this point. Staff is very friendly. Great complimentary coffee in the lobby during the morning.

good deal

Nice Hotel, the lobby smelled a little odd but was nice and clean. Unfortunately I had no breakfast included in my rate. Though you are very central there is no good breakfast place near by. Would stay there again.

delightful...

We had a great time staying at the hotel felix last weekend. It was in a perfect location, away from Michigan Avenue, but close enough to get wherever we wanted to go with just a short, quick walk. The staff was so nice and helpful. coffee in the morning was great. the bed was incredibly comfortable. it was a great experience, and i would definitely stay again. very cool!

New hotels, very small rooms, great location

This is a relatively new hotel. Great location, because you are close to Michigan Ave but not so close that you have the inconvenience of all that foot traffic and tourists. Rooms are very small. I only stayed two nights and didn't spend much time in the room. If you are planning a long stay or wanting to relax in the room a lot, this might not be for you. For instance, the closet is incredibly tiny and there's little floor room for anything other than the bed and your shoes. Hotel staff was very friendly. They gave me a recommendation for a fabulous vegan restaurant located just a few blocks away. It was awesome!! I also appreciated the eco-friendly touches of the hotel. Valet, garage parking nearby, or feed the meters on the street.

Small as expected, but still a great value

I had read the reviews here and thought I knew what to expect as far as the room size, but I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. Yes the queen bed room is small, but it didn't feel cramped or unusable by any means. Everything else about the room made up for it. The bed was extremely comfortable , the flat screen TV carried true HD channels, the WIFI internet was free and sufficiently fast, and the bathroom and shower were very clean with a large relaxing shower head. Two of us shared the room with ease for 3 nights. We were usually only in the room to sleep, thanks to the hotel's close proximity to Michigan Ave and so many restaurants. Overall, I was very pleased with our stay.

Great value, the service not so much, but who needs good service anyway

good price, but normally it is not good to have a personal phone conversation and act bothered by the fact that you showed up to check in and get your room key, just saying

Lovely Hotel!!

From the doormen to the lobby, it's pretty impressive. The attendants at check in were ok, Konrad on check out was very nice smiled a lot, and was very kind. The hotel is very clean and the doormen were always ready to hail a cab for me. I enjoyed the spa shampoo, conditioner, body butter, and shea butter bar of soap. The Deluxe Kohler Shower head in the bathroom is FANTASTIC, and the Egyptian Cotton Plush Towels are great. The Linens on the bed are cozy and soft, and the pillows are decadent down pillows. Loved the HDTV, and having the ability to watch movies that are still in theaters. My favorite amenity was the iHome iPod alarm clock radio in the room, it has great sound and I loved that I could just plug in my iPod and rock out and feel like I was at home. AWESOME! Room was very clean and the cleaning staff was VERY NICE!! Love the Hotel Felix and I will definitely be back again!!!
