Hotel Emporio Acapulco

Great hotel in a Great Location!

This is a great hotel! The room was clean and had a great view. The staff was very nice and accomodating. I would defintely recommend this hotel. The Sunset Grill was a great place to eat on the property.

needs improvment

our room states that a coffee maker is included but it was not and a key was not provided for the mini bar. I was not impressed by the room but by Mexico standards it will pass as most I have stayed at are not comparable to the USA. The maid even forgot to clean on one day .The room was in need of paint and new flooring but the bed was comfortable and and it was ok. The resort on the other hand is very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful although they do not speak very good english all our needs were met quickly and kindly and the food at the restaurants is good also. Getting up early to run down to rent a spot on the beach for an umbrella or Palapa is a hassle but well worth it. all in all I would stay here again. The location is excellent and has nice beach access. One other thing, watch out for the morning sewer run off from the city that flows into the ocean next to the hotel. We had to jump over it to walk the beach

Great Hotel

Pros: It has very new ammendities. Hotel lobby is very nice. Rooms are big and the bed is very comfortable. The pool water is very clean. Price is pretty reasonable. Cons: They don't change the sheets.

Walk to anything

This is my second stay at the Emporio it satisfies all my vacation needs and is in the perfect location where I like to be when I'm in Acapulco. Would I stay here again absolutely

Great service...hotel needs some maintenance

We had a wonderful view from our room. The service was great, the people were friendly and very helpful. Everyone knew enough English so communication was not a problem. The hotel needs a little maintenance but we would definitely come here again.

Great location & very pretty

The location of the hotel is nearby to a flea market, upscale shopping mall, and Condesa beach night clubs & restaurants. Also centrally located to other Acapulco sites (cliff divers, clifftop nightclubs, harbour). The pools & slide are fun and have different moods to fit anyone's need. The beach area is also beautiful from the balcony and off property. Our room was very clean and kept tidy.
