    This is a great hotel! The room was clean and had a great view. The staff was very nice and accomodating. I would defintely recommend this hotel. The Sunset Grill was a great place to eat on the property.

    our room states that a coffee maker is included but it was not and a key was not provided for the mini bar. I was not impressed by the room but by Mexico standards it will pass as most I have stayed at are not comparable to the USA. The maid even forgot to clean on one day .The room was in need of paint and new flooring but the bed was comfortable and and it was ok. The resort on the other hand is very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful although they do not speak very good english all our needs were met quickly and kindly and the food at the restaurants is good also. Getting up early to run down to rent a spot on the beach for an umbrella or Palapa is a hassle but well worth it. all in all I would stay here again. The location is excellent and has nice beach access. One other thing, watch out for the morning sewer run off from the city that flows into the ocean next to the hotel. We had to jump over it to walk the beach

Location. Located along on a private beach in downtown Acapulco, Mexico, the Hotel Emporio Acapulco stands less than two kilometers from Disco el Alebrije and less than three kilometers from Sissy's Water Park.

Hotel Features. This hotel features 2 dining venues and bars that include Mexican and Asian cuisine served at the Sunset restaurant and coastal dishes prepared by the chefs at the Papaloapan. Arka Martini & Tapas Bar provides sophisticated atmosphere while patrons listen to music and sample a wide variety of tapas and cocktails. Function rooms accommodate up to 900 guest, and business amenities include fax, photocopying and printing services. The Oriental Spa offers relaxation and rejuvenation through its range of exfoliating, hydrating and detoxifying body wraps. Massage treatments include aromatherapies and native-derived Volcanic or River Stones therapies. The spa features a sauna and a spa tub. Recreation options include two outdoor pools, one for adults and one for children. A fitness room contains cardiovascular and strength-training equipment.

Guestrooms. This hotel features 419 guestrooms housed within two towers, all with balconies and views of Santa Lucia Bay.
