    My daughter and I spent a week in this charming hotel in Saumur! The staff are terrific and were always friendly and helpful! They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Saumur with easy access to restaurants and shopping. Although the rooms are rather basic, they are very clean and well kept. This hotel is great value for the price! I would love to stay there again.

Hotel Le Londres is a white stone building dating back to the early 19th century, situated in the heart of the historic town of Saumur in the Loire Valley. This family- run hotel features 25 guestrooms decorated with light colours, antique-style white-painted antique furniture. Modern in-room amenities include satellite television, Internet connections, direct-dial phones, desks and private bathrooms.

Guests can start the day with a leisurely breakfast while reading the comic books available to borrow from the front desk. Wireless Internet is available throughout. Multilingual staff can also advise guests on local attractions and organise transfers. As there is no restaurant on site, staff can make reservations for dining in one of the many nearby restaurants. There is also limited secure parking which can be booked in advance. Chateau de Saumur, a magnificent white stone chateau overlooking the River Loire, is just 500 metres away and the famous wineries of the Loire region are five kilometres from the hotel. Nantes Airport is 150 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.
