    We found the hotel very nice in every way. The staff was friendly and everyone that we dealt with at the desk was friendly/accomodating and spoke english well. It was a great location to walk from and there was easy access to the parking lot. The parking area was somewhat cramped (typical for European cities) so a large car might present difficulty if the lot was full.

    Loved: big room, good bathroom amenities (soaps, toothpaste, etc.) Nice breakfast. Clean, nice staff. Good location. Didn't love: hotel old and not updated. Bathroom really needed updating. Room was paneled in dark wood, few lamps. Parking is not easy to find, is dark and even by european standards VERY cramped, and expensive. No doorman to assist arrival.

Hotel Features. Constructed in 1846, this hotel features a lobby distinguished by trompe-l'oeil paintings, leather sofas and a magnificent staircase. The on-site La Touraine Restaurant prepares creative French gourmet fare in a pastel-shaded dining room. The wood-paneled La Touraine lounge bar serves Champagne and a selection of malt whiskies and cocktails.
