    You can't beat the location. The hotel is right off one the main avenues of Paris, on Saint Germain du Pres. Notre Dame is a 5 minute walk, the Louvre is 8-10 minutes away, St. Sulpice is 5 minutes, the Luxenburg Gardens are 8 minutes away, and Musee d'Orsay is 12 minutes max. Around the hotel are a number of great cafes and shops. Cherche Midi and Rue de Rennes are just steps away from this hotel. If you really want to see Paris stay at this hotel. Anything you can't walk to is not a big deal (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Couer) because there are two different subway lines within 2 blocks of the hotel. The subway is cheap and the ride is 15 minutes max to any of the "far" sites. The hotel itself is quite nice. The lobby is a great place to enjoy a coffee. Don't order the hotel's breakfast. It's way too expensive and there are a number of cafes, boulangeries, and patisseriers where you can get breakfast. The beds are small so are the rooms but they are clean and comfortable. A major plus - the hotel offers free wifi. So if you're going to bring a lap top or use your blackberry you're in luck.

    the location is incredible. the room and the bathroom were each very clean but just a bit small (not unexpected). everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful. location, location, location. I'd stay at this place again for sure.

Location. Set in the intellectual Saint Germain des Pres district, the Hotel de Buci is an elegant property housed in a renovated 16th-century building, within one kilometre of the Louvre Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is situated 32 kilometres away, approximately 50 minutes to reach by car.

Hotel Features.The hotel's Mayor's Bar offers a selection of snacks and drinks, and there is a patisserie and a breakfast room which can also be used to host meetings for up to 15 people. The 24-hour front desk offers concierge assistance and transfers from the airport (surcharge), and there is complimentary wireless Internet access available throughout. Further amenities include dry cleaning facilities, room service, and parking available nearby.

Guestrooms.The 24 guestrooms feature traditional decor with 18th century- style French fabrics and cherry-wood furnishings. Expert Tip. The Musée d'Orsay, located one kilometre from the hotel, is dedicated to French art from 1894 to 1914, and includes works by Van Gogh, Rodin, Monet, Cézanne and Degas.
