We travelled five EU Countries in 10 days, sort of a mini Europe Tour as my treat for my husband on his b-day. I must say without bias that this hotel exceeded than the other EU hotels we've been to. The moment I walked into the lobby for check-in, I didnt realize the grandeur and sophistication of the hall, the overwhelming high ceiling that made me feel like being in one of those cathedrals, and the high-end store within the building. The business center was an effecient chic place to do a quick work for the office or just checking the flight for the next day. The staff was absolutely warm, professional and are there to help, They even helped me out in getting info for a Thalys train sched without hesitation (it was past midnight when I asked for their assistance, when I checked my flight the next day was overbooked we decided to go to Brussels for our JFK flight, Brussels is only over an hour train ride. The train station is also a few minutes walk from the hotel, so getting anywhere and pretty much in all of the city landmark is not a problem. If you are a New Yorker and can get by the commute of subways, then Im sure you will absolutely love this hotel, knowing the traffic of the city and the limited days we had, we relied pretty much on the train to maximize our day. By the way, it was my husband's b-day that day we checked in, and I jokingly asked the front desk if we can get a room with the eiffel tower view for his b-day, he smiled and looked at the passport and said, "As a matter of fact I think I do have. Ok. No extra charge. Happy Bday. Enjoy your stay". I was amazed at how much they really mean customer service, true enough when we get to our room, the eiffel tower is staring straight at us through our window at 12 O'clock direction. It was the last country of our EU tour, most o

This was a great hotel. It is a conference center and had an entire mall attached to it. The only problem is that it is away from most of the sightseeing places. But if you don't mind taking the subway every morning this is a gem of a hotel. Everything was perfect and when we looked out our window we saw the bright lights of the Eiffel Tower beaming at us. If you don't mind the subway, stay at this hotel!
