Hotel Colonne

Location. The Hotel Colonne is located in the village of Sacro Monte, in Varese, Italy, within the Campo dei Fiori Natural Park, 500 metres from the 14 chapels of Sacro Monte Varese and 20 kilometres from Lake Maggiore. Varese train station is four kilometres away, and Milan Malpensa Airport is 47 kilometres distant.

Expert Tip. The 14 chapels of Sacro Monte Varese are set along a mountain path, begun in construction in 1604. The chapels were built and dedicated to the mysteries of the Rosary. The Campo dei Fiori is covered in forests of chestnut and beech and has underground caves, some still unexplored.
