Hotel Claridge Paris

Wonderful little hotel with a great location

We made the reservations the night before and arrived around 1:00 am. The gentleman checking us in was very helpful with a friendly attitude. The rooms are small, typical of other Paris hotels I've stayed in, had an inside rook so no view but it was quite. Breakfast was 24 euros, we decided to go around the corner and get something so no feedback on the breakfast. Overall, we had a good experience with the hotel and would stay there again.

Old Friend

I have stayed at the Claridge on most of my trips to Paris since 1963. When I do not, it is because the Claridge is fully booked.

Great location, Hotel can be worth the price

Without denial, the hotel is in a phenomenal location. Walking distance to many museums and monuments and very close to many metro stops. Also some decent, if not expensive, restaurants in the area. The hotel is not very luggage friendly (elevator is up a small flight of stairs), but just one of the qwirks. Otherwise, great bathroom and room were a good size, but the bed was a bit firm. We got a great rate for the hotel during the week. At our price point this hotel was fine, but I noticed for the next nights, the price was 50% to 75% higher. It would not have been worth that price.

great location & good value

We enjoyed our stay at the Claridge very much. The location is great & the neighborhood is nice- places to shop & eat but not too noisy at night. Close to the metro & the Champs Elysees for walking & the Pont d'Alma for the Bateau Mouches or for crossing into the Left Bank. Staff was very pleasant & professional.

Nice hotel, very convenient for Paris

Only complaint is that lous noises can be heard in the early mornings from the side of the rooms attached to the building, or inhabitants next door.

Would stay here again

The room was clean and not too small (although while I was checking in other guests were calling to complain that their rooms were not big enough). The hotel is right next to all of the high-end stores and was convenient for the business conference I attended down the street. The only thing I didn't like was the cost of the internet which is the highest I've ever paid for 24 hours. I definitely would stay here again.

Great Location for the Sightseer

This hotel is in a wonderful location in Paris...close to EVERYTHING! We were able to walk everywhere, but the train stops are nearby as well. Great little restaurants in the neighborhood and upscale retail shops. My only complaint is that you can hear the other guests a bit too well. Walls are extremely thin and it can sound like they are entering your room instead of theirs. If you are in Paris for sightseeing, and will be up and out early in the morning and back late at night, this is a superb place. But if you think you want to catch a little bit of sleep, then I would suggest a more "solid" hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in this neighborhood Paris hotel. The room was adequate and a good value. The location was terrific!
